Seems like its going to be a very cold winter in Kosovo Jason!

"Actually I am going to have to bust you on this one because you are mistaken. Our policy forbids us from getting into political discussions with locals. I can do so here in an anonymous environment until the time I am not employed here."

Jason, if you didn't know untill now, I can tell you that you are making two BIG mistakes boy;
1. People who hide their 'face', have no personality,
2. You are breaking the policy anyway.

And... if somebody in there is so strict (like you pretend to be), they can find this out very easly.

P.s. Its nobody elses opinion but mine and I guess you know this...lol

"Good for you. I am glad freedom of movement is not a problem for you. I work in the South usually but I much prefer Turkish coffee in N. Mitro rather than those bloody machiattos that are served elsewhere in Vucitrn or Pristina."

Come on Jason, if you really work and live in Mitrovica, you know it for sure (just like I know) that the freedom of movement is not a problem for anyone who's willing to do so.
Have you seen how serbs and albanians are working together in Little Bosnia (Bosniak Mahalla)? Have you ever drive from Mitrovica to Prishtina, if so, for sure you have seen how many vehicles with KM, Pr, Gl, Vr, Bg ect ect plates are in this main road? and many other streets in Kosovo. And they never have a problem to do so!!!

Sorry Jason but I'm not going to talk about the 'bull***' turkish coffee or machiato.

"I am sure we do. Film, music, sport... there are probably a dozen things we have in common.

Great, now i understood that we have more in common than critics ;)

"Maybe we can have a movie night at my flat, make popcorn, and have a nice shiraz:)"

I hope not to dissapoint you but I prefer more the open areas than the boring flats. But thanks anyway.

"Give me directions and I will meet you for discussion in a few months."

Gotha, Liburnia... or may be you prefer noisy friday-saturday places like UnderBar, Old House or or...
No Jason, I'm kidding.
See you at (you tell the place), tomorrow at 17:00. I can tell them to make a turkish coffee for you...lol NO POLITIC DISCUSSIONS.

Cheers... (Me with a cute smile on my face :))

K-AL,

Jason, come one man, a coffee and open talk doesn't hurt! (well, depends where u have this coffee and what they put in it... lol). I know many Eulex, Ico members, even some more or most "sensitive" work-cases, and they are allowed to meet anyone they want, the contract doesn't stop you from having a coffee and talking with a local... so Jason, you sound a little chicky when u talk about contracts... lol.

-- Actually I am going to have to bust you on this one because you are mistaken. Our policy forbids us from getting into political discussions with locals. I can do so here in an anonymous environment until the time I am not employed here. Furthermore, as some more nationalistic types here have pointed out, since my idea of what takes place here is not jiving with my government's view - I stand to lose out. As I said, after this contract I will talk to anyone openly.

If you're ever in South (any place) let me know, or even in North I have no problems at all to go there.(Been there yesterday, I can go right now if I want to ;))

--Good for you. I am glad freedom of movement is not a problem for you. I work in the South usually but I much prefer Turkish coffee in N. Mitro rather than those bloody machiattos that are served elsewhere in Vucitrn or Pristina.

Or... or... Jason, I can take you to OUR office and fortunetly, we are allowed to offer coffee in office for gests... (seriosly Jason).

--Sounds lovely. Give me directions and I will meet you for discussion in a few months.

P.s. We must have something in common Jason -

I am sure we do. Film, music, sport... there are probably a dozen things we have in common. Maybe we can have a movie night at my flat, make popcorn, and have a nice shiraz:)

Ptj btw is a group of very interesting individuals. I dont know if elite, realistically. In Mup there's one unit too many with the same profile. Its politics. how about dacic's press conferences every time a hunting rifle is found on someone.

Jason,
if you realy are any kind of international stuff in Kosovo, Eulx, Ico or whatever, I would like to see you in person.

-- Absolutely. Once I finish my contract I will be more than happy to speak with anyone in person. I will be available because I in the process of buying some land through a Serbian friend up near Gazivode. We can meet in Cafe Sar or Cafe Cafe in Mitro if you like.

Thank you for your advice on what I should be doing - but I rarely take advice on employment from Kosovo Albanians. Thanks anyhow though.

Jason,
if you realy are any kind of international stuff in Kosovo, Eulx, Ico or whatever, I would like to see you in person. Its not any kind of threat or anything to do with that, just to know more about you, your job, what good do u do in Kosovo because you're always here with critics and sound a lot familiar with a minority in Kosovo.
Please Jason, do some good work in Kosovo instead of sitting infront of your computer and making all the possible critics in everything.

KP is a great new name for the long-forgotten KPS, Kosovo_USA. When I was in the US Army, doing KP, meant I was doing "kitchen police" duty. This new name is very appropriate for your local K_Albanian police members.

Excellent work by the elite PTJ! Let us hope KPS learns from them and actually locks up some criminals in Kosovo just the same.
(Jason, 10 November 2009 11:40)

First of all,I like to say good jub Serb MUP.
Second, Jason failed his mission if he is dissing KP (term KPS IS long forgaten) ,since he was and is on the mission to monitor, mentor &advise KP.
