Kosovar Serbs have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I have heard the argument from Serb Camp that if the Kosovar minority vote in mass that this action will "legitimize the fake state". I do not believe this is true. One election does not legitimize a status of the state....elections legitimize power and wield those to take charge.

Well if you check the last 110 years under Belgrade rule, you will see how responsible patron Belgrade has been and how since then, Serb-Albanian relations have worsen to a point of no return.

Not sure, what do you think Belgrade can do worse than it has to convince you that it can not govern the Albanians responsibly and contribute to a Serb-Albanian co-existence.

At this point things are so bad that Albanians see the anti-Serbian theme as part of their national identity. Their very existence is perceived as a struggle against Serbia and Serbian repression. Now what kind of responsible governance degenerates affairs to this point and still appeals for no change.


Maybe Pristina can do better.

You are the ones who always had your eyes on separating and joining your mother Albania. You terrorised Serbs of Kosovo for decades and when that didn't provoke war you started to murder Serbian police there. You were the opressors, not the Serbs.

This strategic is deeply flawed. I have said it here before and I will say it again. The only way Serbia will keep Kosovo is by repopulating with Serbs. This is a war of demographics plain and simple.

Some of Serbian commentators here say that K-Albanian history, as proclaimed here, is false and that S. commentators know better this history, and that Albanians have no proof of this "oppression" and crimes against Albanians commited by Serbian govt/army. The only proof you need is Nato's Unanimous vote to bomb the Serbian army out of Kosova and the Serbian govt. going out of its way to a show trial at the ICJ to force these judges to view Kosova Albanian history from Serbian eyes.

Dude,if Serbia had any claim whatsoever on Kosova land, Belgrade authority would still be on the ground in Pristina. But alas, Serbian govt has proved to the world and is going out of its way to get the whole world to agree that Serbia has NO claim at all in Kosova. Good job Belgrade!! You do Albanians' job superbly.
