There is still an open question, what is "Ukrainian". According some, there is no such thing as "Russian", just "Ukrainian-in-the-East". According others it's just the opposite. The language itself is somewhere in the middle between Russian and Serbian. Most "Ukrainians" do not even use it. They simply speak a Russian dialect, except Kiev where they do not even speak the dialect, they speak the 100% normal Russian.
As far as the incident - RIP, very sorry for that; you have to know the usual clumsiness and irresponsibility of the Soviet military. This was the worst of it and nothing to be proud of.
As far as "other" Ukrainians and Russians: rest assure, they know pretty much nothing about the Serbian-Albanian conflict. There wasn't much contact, but till mid-60-s quite a few Albanians landed up all over Russia as students from Enver Hoxha's Albania.
All Russians and Ukrainians know, these Albanians can be formed into excellent husbands. But by now these than-young people aren't very young and their kids are Russians (or given the recent trend: their grand-children are probably Germans, Americans, Israelis).

Where is the accountability for aiming bullets directly towards the heads of protesters? Rubber bullets or not, I don't remember any Ukranian soldier being held responsible.
Let me mention as a side note that certain convention agreements state it is unlawful for such acts. Even if the protesters were rowdy and the Ukranian soldiers had real bullets you are ONLY allowed to shoot at lower body (feet), then if possible arms, then upper body (stomach to neck)....but never towards the head.
Maybe Illyrians were in the Balkans 4000 years ago, but Albanians are not their descendants. That tribe died off. Albanians came by boats from Sicily, escaping and running from someone as usual. But if that would happend then there is Kosovo security forces and Kosovo Police who will act and secure safety for all it's citizens. Where is the accountability for aiming bullets directly towards the heads of protesters? Rubber bullets or not, I don't remember any Ukranian soldier being held responsible.
Let me mention as a side note that certain convention agreements state it is unlawful for such acts. Even if the protesters were rowdy and the Ukranian soldiers had real bullets you are ONLY allowed to shoot at lower body (feet), then if possible arms, then upper body (stomach to neck)....but never towards the head.

There is still an open question, what is "Ukrainian". According some, there is no such thing as "Russian", just "Ukrainian-in-the-East". According others it's just the opposite. The language itself is somewhere in the middle between Russian and Serbian. Most "Ukrainians" do not even use it. They simply speak a Russian dialect, except Kiev where they do not even speak the dialect, they speak the 100% normal Russian.
As far as the incident - RIP, very sorry for that; you have to know the usual clumsiness and irresponsibility of the Soviet military. This was the worst of it and nothing to be proud of.
As far as "other" Ukrainians and Russians: rest assure, they know pretty much nothing about the Serbian-Albanian conflict. There wasn't much contact, but till mid-60-s quite a few Albanians landed up all over Russia as students from Enver Hoxha's Albania.
All Russians and Ukrainians know, these Albanians can be formed into excellent husbands. But by now these than-young people aren't very young and their kids are Russians (or given the recent trend: their grand-children are probably Germans, Americans, Israelis).
The more Slavs leave the Illyrian land the more peaceful the Balkans.
ALL Slavs MUST return to their origin,(Siberia and Carpathians) and leave this place to autochthonous Albanians with over 4000 years of history, IF ULTIMATE PEACE IS TO PREVAIL.

Italian base in Bjelopolje called Village Italia has a lease for 50 years, and alot was invested there. Same goes for Bondsteel and German base in prizren including Turkish base.

Let me remind you that these soldiers are only visitors on sovereign Serbian soil, their home is not here, but somewhere else, and they will return to their homes at some point.
The Turks were also unwelcome visitors to Serbia for many centuries and we finally forced them out. I certainly hope that the current occupiers of sovereign Serbian land, Kosovo, will leave voluntarily (because they are bankrupt and can't afford it), but if they don't we will have to force them out, just like we forced out Turks, Austro-Hungarians, and Nazis.

PRN, I do not agree with you on this one.
Kosovo belong to all Kosovar’s no matter their ethnicity.
Whoever wants to live in Kosovo in peace is welcomed.
PRN people (including women and children) died because of the same attitude from the Serbian side towards Kosovo Albanians.
Please let’s not become something that we fought so hard against.
PRN, I have noticed a common attitude that people express in forums (other forums included).
People start with fairly unbiased comments to start with.
As time goes by, some comments make one angry and the vicious circle of getting and making the other one angry begins.
This is reflected with more nationalistic views being posted (look at Peggy, Jovan and MikeC for example).
It happens to everybody and it can be seen that you are not immune either.
I recall your comments in the past and they did not contain this level of hate towards non-Albanians.
I recommend to everybody to switch off once in a while from reading and posting comments to “calm” down and rejoin once the anger is gone.
Do not read only comments that make you angry.
