If i were you, I would pay alot of attention to post#2. he is right on the money. You can have those companies in Serbia, cause I like to breath a fresh air and free of cancer.

You should pay more attention to Dragan - he is right about the depleted uranium. Regardless of whether these factories are good for Serbia is irrelevant anyway. You see, Serbia has something called an OPPORTUNITY to accept or decline investors. This is something Kosovo does not. No one wants to invest in Kosovo.

If you’re worried about breathing fresh non-cancerous air, it’s too late your good friend Bill Clinton, you know the guy you Kosovars have erected a statute and renamed a street after, sent you love and kisses in the form of depleted uranium.

Serbia is not that stupid to allow those industries to be established because it can make much more money from exporting organic fruit and vegetables to Europe, Russia and China. Many European countries are starting to invest in Serbia, including that bastion of high ideals, Holland, and this will continue to grow and grow – just keep an eye over the next 2 years.

I wish I could say the same for Kosovo. It will remain as it is today, reliant on total EU aid, little to no industry and with nil prospects at all for its population unless your tied with Serbia.

Kosovo-USA,
You like to breath fresh air? I hope you realize there is depleted uranium all over the place in Kosovo thanks to the US war criminals who dropped it everywhere. Keep breathing in that 'fresh air' and thank your friend Bill Clinton and company for it!

Great news. I also read an interesting article about a US bank manager saying that Serbia offers prime business opportunities. http://www.ambassador-serbia.com/2009/10/30/a-us-bank-manager-says-serbia-offers-prime-business-opportunities/

Always lovely to see the ability of people to only see on the negative side of life, but never the positive. Capitalism sucks. Deal with it. Or stop complaining that your country is poor.

Wow, one would have thought that after seeing the awesome new Kosovo spots on CNN that these companies would invest here!

Clear enough...they need banana country to plant their DIRTY POLLUTERS industries in.

NO WAY! Blocking the deal immediately or demonstrations till the Government falls.

We should never allow spoiling the natural beauty of Central Serbia and endangering the health of our children for the greedy dirty poluting American liberal-capitalism industries!
