All I'm hearing from this forum is how 'wrong' the arrest was. The article did not go into much detail, but it sufficiently noted that one of the perpetrators was 14.
I ask this of the gallery of posters that is villifying Russia's actions. What would you have them do instead? What are the appropriate actions to take when a minor commits a crime? Should they simply say, 'oh you're under 18, go free, go nuts, enjoy you few remaining years of youth breaking laws'? Should they not treat a criminal as a criminal regardless of the age? Should they then treat criminals who aren't official adults as a youth criminals?
Two wrongs don't make a right, but everybody seems to forget the original wrong of the 14 year old. Criminal activity must be punished according to each and every nation, society or group. These slanderous, baseless arguments about the offenders age are irrelevent. A crime is a crime and a criminal is a criminal.

Sometimes I am wondering if you are Serb trying to give Albanians a bad name...
How can you point a finger at Russia and not the US of A? Guantanamo! How many innocent people spent years on that island under extreem conditions. They convict Kosovo-usa you are by far the easiest person at this forum prove wrong.

You think America is better than Russia?

"She is one of 2,270 juveniles across the United States who were sentenced to life without parole, a punishment second only in severity to the death penalty. All were under 18 when they committed the crimes. Six of them were 13, and 50 of them were 14"

A 14 year old charged with deforestation? Not a big deal.

How about the mentally disabled teenage Serbian charged with genocide in Kosovo? Allegedly burning 3 houses constitutes genocide. Check http://articles.latimes.com/2000/aug/25/news/mn-10322

Looks like we can all learn about democracy from our very own ethnic Albanian citizens.
