Ah ok,

Well, I've been mistaken, sorry I thought Zoran and Yaroslav were speaking about MILITARY bases...

Of course, no one, even in NATO member countries will deny Russian firefighters from reaching Nis.

But as regards Military planes or other materials....forget it...we have a precedent: in june 1999, russian soldiers took control of Pristina airport and were preparing the welcoming of a whole airborne division from Russia...planes and men were ready...Unfortunately they didn't manage to find only one country which may have allowed them to reach Kosovo.
Even Montenegro, which was still part of Yugoslavia and of course NO NATO member refused to let them through...so you can dream on Greek and Bosnians....

Zoran

Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia will also join NATO.

Come now, why would any country deny Russian planes access to their airspace when they are used for emergency purposes *wink* *wink*, such as wildfires?

Greece, Croatia and Montenegro all seem interested so I can see many routes of access.

Why would the Russians set up such a base at Niš airport if it didn't have access? That airport is both military and civilian.

I think Russia has thought this through much more than most people here.

Mircea, Serbia and Romania get along well so all is fine.

Italian style of doing deals you showed be aware of the Italians . “Luigi,” the father says to his son, ‘I want you to marry a girl of my
choice.’
Son says: ‘I will choose my own bride!’
Luigi says: ‘But the girl is Bill Gates’ daughter.’
Son answers: ‘Well, in that case, ok’
Next Luigi approaches Bill Gates and says, ‘I have a husband for your
daughter.’
Bill Gates answers, ‘But my daughter is too young to marry!’
Luigi says, ‘But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank.’
Bill Gates answers, ‘Ah, in that case, ok.’
Finally Luigi goes to see the president of the World Bank.
Luigi says, ‘I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president.’
President answers, ‘But I already have more vice-presidents than I need!’
Luigi says, ‘But this young man is Bill Gates’ son-in-law.’
President answers: ‘Ah, in that case, ok.’
And that, my friends, is how Italians do business.

Hans, you only have to look at a map and all will be clear but we don't really need Russian tanks in Serbia. We already have our own.

As for Russian planes, I believe they will be flying into Niš airport. That's why that location was chosen.

Clear now?

"just tell us by which miracle Russian planes or tanks are going to reach Serbia ?????

Are you planing to send them through South Stream pipeline hahahaah ? Perhaps may Serbs build a tunnel under NATO countries' territories (which envelop Serbia)...once Serbia recovers from bankruptcy ....?
(Hans, 30 October 2009 13:52) "

How will Russian planes reach Serbia? Simple. The same way that Nato planes are currently allowed to fly through Russian territory on their way to Afghanistan.

So Serbia is bankrupt .... and I suppose "Kosova"'s streets are paved with gold?

And I didn't know that Montenegro and Bosnia already joined Nato? How culd Bosnia join without the consent of Srpska -- Nato membership being something that must be agreed by all 3 Bosnia peoples?

Yaroslav

Hans, it's quite simple how the scenario Zoran speaks off would occur.

Anti-American Greece would allow Russia to go towards Serbia, they would just need war games to get into Greek waters and airspace and then move.

Then the Russians could easily bribe FYROM for 1 or 2 billion $$.

Afterall many politicians are not willing to listen to NATO their given the Bucharest fiasco.

The only thing is would a Serb government actually support a Russian base. Exremely unlikely.

Italians want Serbia in the new reconstituted EU Cesar Roman Empire. The Germans want it want it in the new EU Kaiser German Empire. The French want it in the new EU Emperor French empire. The Russians want it in the new Czar expansionist Empire. Serbia is becoming very popular sorry guys but I think she likes the Russian Czar. I think she gave her heart to the warm Kremlin.

You get to know and realize when, where and how...when you see the "friendly Russians" flying over your enveloped Nato heads.

No worries...step by step...Russians are coming.

Hurry, hurry, rush, rush before you get an EU candidate with Russian bases on its territory. That will mean Russian bases in the EU! Ooops!

Now who put up all of those obstacles?
