What airline is gonna fly? JAT is in agony. It's DC-10s flew into a junkyard years ago. JAT has no money even to rent or buy a new turboprop and here we need some medium-to-long range Boeing (767, 777) or Airbus (330, 340). As far as I can see, only some American airline – AA, UA, Continental - could reach BEG from ORD, maybe with one stop on JFK, LHR or CDG.

Chicago is the 2nd most serb populated city after Belgrade. So I would agree it would make sense for there to be a direct flight.

Direct flights between Chicago and Belgrade is long overdue

Not my favorite gateway for two simple reasons:

- it is neither "west coast" nor "east coast". Who lives on either will need an other connection and I hate to use connecting flights within the States.

- Chicago has pretty windy weather to say the least. Be prepared for some spectacular take-offs and landings I rather miss.

Direct flights between Chicago and Belgrade is long overdue but the only thing Djilas can learn from Daley is how to run your city like a Mafia don.
