"Ilarion ... said that the Russian Church has always stood and always will stand together with the SPC in all its times of troubles."

albanians, there is nothing here to do with politics. it's just a russian religious figure visiting serbian monastaries on serbian land... by saying 'don't bring politics into this', you are bringing politics into this...

An appeal to Serbian commentators here. Stop stiring the waters in Kosova and get the religion into the political life. It might work in Serbia/Greece or Russia but will never work in Kosova. If a "man of church/mosque" behaves like a polititian he will be treated as such.

"Why hasn't Medvedev or Putin come to Kosova? Esp. during the "historic" times. Isn't Kosova = Serbia?"

They will. They will stand there as liberators. No need to come now because they are already dealing with the government who happen to be in Belgrade.

It was a joke! Albanians always say that Kosovo is independent and that outsiders need visas and permission from albanians to enter.

Visa for what, MikeC? He is on Serbian land, and he is welcome by Serbia. the Albanians have no authority on Serbian land, regardless of what the US tells them. Is everyone seeing this paper-power the Albanians were promised waste away, bit by bit? The days are numbered.
