Montenegro "won't give up inch of territory"

Both sides need to stop fighting over Serbian land! Each centimeter is Serbian.

You have no military, velika. What will you do, ride into Podgirica on donkeys, carrying pitchforks, and demanding more Serbian land be granted to you. It would be better for Albanians to concentrate on improving the land they have already stolen, instead of trying to steal more.

Here we go again. Did Montengrens think they would get by smoothly with their new friends, the Albanians? Be it Serbia, Macedonia, and now Montenegro. Albanian land grabbing continue, or they will raise tensions.

This isn't really an issue. Montenegro will form another union with Serbia sooner or later so this dispute between our ethnic Albanian citizens and Montenegrin brothers will be a non issue.

This land that they speak of has only belonged to their families for decades because Serbs fighting in WW2 could not return to them. Even though it belonged to the Serb families for the last thousand years... And please, Albanians, enough with the threats already. I hope the albanians overrun Montenegro, for I have absolutely no sympathy or regard for this nation. As my family originates from Montenegro, it hurts my very soul to say those things, but it's true.

With an albanian victory, our buddies would then have to face their true match, the SERBS!

The roaring 90-es are over and the Albanians have no more Bush artillery behind. Much has changed on the Continent as well. So the old trick with poor “minority to be defended” won’t work. Besides they need no more soil for their base in Balkans. Yet Dzhukanovic has deprived himself of the only natural ally which Serbia could definitely be and thus he may rely only on Brussels.

Give them a finger and they`ll take a hand.Or steal anything that was not nailed,Montenegrians living around the borders are missing everything from chickens to cows.And all of us are acting suprized they want to steal the land .How fast they forgot recent history around the same borders.

There will not be any problem between Kosova and Montenefro as far border line is concerned. Everybody knows where the borders are and we will have good neighborly relation. It was stuppid who ever decided to put up those signs inside Kosova territory, but Mr. Racic said himself that the problem will be solved without politicazing the situation.

Montenegro doesn´t need as much territory as Kosovo needs. Montenegro is just as big as Kosovo. But it has only 650.000 inhabitants wheras Kosovo has a population of 2.200.000. Sooner or later Albanians will need more land.

I wish the Montenegrin leadership wakes up and realizes that a cup of coffee and loza/rakija is always more enjoyable with family than with neighbors.

Deeply saddened to hear such disturbing news threatening to spoil centuries old history of good neighbourly relationships. Unfortunately, there is a language barrier between me and Mr. Majlo "Dz"ucanevic - if he new Serbian language I could offer him an excellent book of old folk proverbs collected by Vuk St. Karadzic. He (Mr. Majlo "Dz"ucanevic) might find in there some very appropriate once for the current situation,although he may not be familiar with the name of the author himself.

I really wish albanians would stop posturing with their military might.I believe Serbian forces wiped you out in 1998 and then you went crying to the americans to save you just like the croatons.You have no military might,what you do is kill innocent civilians,ambush police,kidnap solitary soldiers and burn homes.I believe this is called "terrorism".

The border needs to be demarcated. When I traveled into Montenegro via Kosova there was I estimate 2km - 2.5km of buffer zone. That's not right.

What were they thinking of coming into Kosova and putting up signs?

Ok, did Montenegro SERIOUSLY think that they can hand out Serbian land left right and centre, come up with lame excuses, then be all uptight when the same thing knocks on their door?
If I was an Albanian with a Great Albania in mind, I would take this as a sign that Montenegro supports land grab, and would see no issue in demanding the same thing from them, what they eagerley supported Serbia give to Albanians.
Same things goes for Macedonia.

I do not support illegal land grab, but for those who ARE supporting it, at least be consistent about it.

are you joking are what there is not 2.2 million people in kosovo you and your fake numbers the world sees this. there is about 1 million albanians and about 150,000 Serbs and whatever else because in albania there is only about 2.7 million albaians and there is 500,000 greeks and about 50-100,000 Serbs and there is 300,000 Slavic Macedonians and gypsies about 150,000.

Let the carve up of Kosovo begin! Serbia from the north and Montenegro from teh west.

It was stupid from Montenegro Authorities to install those "informative" signs inside Kosovar territory.

You see, the villagers in Peja minicipality are not able to know the difference between an "informative" and an "official" border sign, in particular if it is installed over night in their own private lands.
