Six dead in traffic accidents

Five people died while 59 were injured on Friday in 228 traffic accidents on Serbia's roads, Serbian police (MUP) announced.

I agree totally - but not just a macho mindest; also a teenage mindset of thinking you're immortal and often not caring about others.

Plus the problems of cars that shouldn't be on the road at all.

BUT you can state exactly the same reasons behind accidents, whether numbers are lesser or greater, in every European nation (probably beyond).

It's just a case of whether there are laws in place to combat this driving behaviour (which I believe there are in Serbia) and how thoroughly they are enforced and monitored.

Are we still at war? Looking at the figures of how many Serbs die on a daily basis on our roads it's like looking at figures during the NATO bombing of the country. I guess our worst enemy at the moment are our own drivers!
