Really? Even the bottled water was checked when Yeltsin sent it via Hungary to you in the 1990's, Romania and Bulgaria refused flight permits.

If the flights to Nis are deemed a security threat for NATO, guess what happens? Russians setting up a base near Bondsteel, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYROM and Romania fits that category.

Look if NATO should call you let them know that you’re prepared to lead the charge straight to Nis.

Let’s see here, NATO are supplying their troops in Afghanistan via Russian territory, using both land and air, Europe relies on Russian energy supplies, Russia is a partner in the war on terrorism and you think that NATO would go to war. I don’t think so.

Yes, you’re right even bottled water was inspected, but this is not 1990s. I have a feeling that NATO is in the process of re-emerging as a new security organisation where the Russians will have a very big say in how Europe is run.

Alas, you not smart enough to recognise history in the making as power is transferred from one to another nation.

Europe,

You see you will have Russian nuke base in one of your countries. Go for it. It is same case as well known problem in Cuba when Hruscow wanted to establish nuke base there and almost came to the fighting’s between ex USSR and USA. Europe wants Serbia to be part of EU. Will accept Europe, Russian nuke base in one of her countries? This is big question?

Haven't heard of one incident where supposedly NATO prevented flights from Russia. One more thing, it's not NATO who controls the airspace of an independent country. Sometimes I wonder how old you really are with your way of thinking.

It looks and sounds like a military base being set up by Russia under guise as a humanitarian center. Russia in the old USSR had a lot of those humanitarian centers when they visited their willing and unwilling friends. Full of troops ,fighter planes ,amour ,electronic listening base etc. I guess it is to be their to counter Kosovos/U.S./EU military base Camp Bond steel.

Shoigu said that the center was due to be created in 2012 and would include an anti-landmine center.

“The center is expected to be an equipped logistics base, and Niš is a good location because of the airport and good infrastructure,” Dačić explained.
