Movie star plays Georgian leader

I don't think anybody believes this film will do any justice to the people died in the conflict or point the finger of responsibility at dictator Saakashvili.

The truth is,as aknowledged in the EU report, that Shaakshvili ,with the full knowledge and backing of US, attacked South Ossetia last August. This truth was intentionally covered up with layers of outright lies, with smooth Saakasvilli given endless platforms in the Western media, and with state-media like cowardice by most Western journalists and commentators. This was a conscious propaganda effort. It failed. So now we get the gradual climbdown that is covered with more lies and "caveats" and these will become more apparent in this film.

With free media in the West always instinctivelly behaving in this manner we will get more unjust wars.

Hollywood has a long history of turning murderers into heroes.After watching movie "Defiance" where Bielski brothers who killed hundreds of polish women and children were made heroes I do not expect anything but a new junk with totally twisted story.Andy Garcia will have to put on significant weight in order to look like the fat cat Saakasvilli.The only snag is that Polanski is behind the bars.As a person with heevy mental and psychological distortions he could be a perfect direrctor of a movie where the psyche of Saaka must be understood .Sad that hollywood has become the cheap political tool of AIPEC's ambitions.

Garcia's star must be fading if he'd agree to make this tripe.. wonder if he likes ties?

Time Magazine is very leftist, very often straight anti-American and irrelevant by the majority of Americans.
Whatever this magazine writes is not a reference of any kind.

A lot of pro-Russians hoped already a year ago that Saaki will fall in few days or weeks and small Georgia will become a Russian colony again. Thank God this didn't happen. No politician is perfect including Saaki. His big merit however is to keep his country independent from his huge imperialist neighbor.
