Something significant seems to be around the corner.
Russia is in a much better position to assert themselves. This can only be a good thing for the Serbs.
(Peggy, 21 October 2009 22:03)

Peggy- You don't realize who it is that is in charge in Belgrade. They are all under the payroll of other "friends". The friendship of the Russians which has been extended will be rejected. I really hope I'm wrong.

I think it is time the Croats speak up? Do the really want a Bosnian state? Do they really want to be in the Federation?
(Ron, 22 October 2009 04:36)

Ron, Croats did have a chance to speak up and that was during the war. They chose to align themselves with Bosnian Muslims. Nobody forced them into it, but they wanted to look like the good guys and let the Serbs look like they are the only ones who could not live with them.

It is a bit too late now to reveal their true wishes. They went into that coallition willingly and even fought against the Serbs for it. Why cry now?

Well, I don't care so much for Serbs. I care for internatinal law. If you make a deal in the 90s to stop the war don't change it when there is peace. At least not when not all three sides agree.

Very interesting. Russia is stepping up now.
First openly supporting Serbia and telling the world they will be there for the Serbs and make sure that Serbs aren't disadvantaged in any way and now they are also getting involved in RS.

Arta, you should get out from under America's apron. Their are other major players, and maybe more powerful now, than the US. And BTW, Russia was a signatory to the Daytoo Accords. Maybe you should inform yourself, before you make your uneducated daily statements here.

"Huh? And how will they "guarantee" it? As far as I know they weren't a signatory to it. Oh, Dodik trying to scare the west /NATO. Yeah, that will work."

Nato and the rest of Europe should behave or they might freeze this winter. And if they freeze no more food donations to Kosovo. Ha ha ha!

'arta':
> As far as I know they weren't a signatory to it.

Now why doesn't your ignorance surprise me.

"After having been initiated in Dayton, Ohio on November 21, 1995 the full and formal agreement was signed in Paris, France, on December 14, 1995[2] also by French President Jacques Chirac, U.S. President Bill Clinton, UK Prime Minister John Major, German Chancellor Helmut Kohl and Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dayton_accords

> Oh, Dodik trying to scare the west /NATO. Yeah, that will work.

Oh 'arta', as if your interpretation & conclusions bear any relevance at all to the stalemate in BiH - yeah, that'll be the day.

Russia should get involved in this talks. There should be a much bigger role for UN and OSCE. This should not be an US/EU show. And the EU is taking some roles of the OSCE. Not a good thing!

I am very pro-EU by the way. Hope all European countries will join!
