EP backs visa abolition report

The European Parliamentary Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs has supported a report on visa abolition for the Western Balkan states.

"Fajon also urged for proceedings to be undertakem to abolish visa for Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania, and for the process to be opened for Kosovo."

Good God, have these people learnt nothing since Romania and Bulgaria were let into the EU eventhough they had not met basic entry criteria, particularly on crime and corruption?

What is the point of the EU if the rules are waived for 'our friends' or because they are afraid that it might hurt the feelings of somebody or some territory?

Sure, if you will answer to EU citizens why mujahedeen and Al Queda from Bosnia and criminals of all sorts from Albanian controlled Kosovo can come and go as they please. Go and talk to Europol and other crime organizations if you think this is a minor worry.

This kind of political correctness has gone far, far too far.
