Tadić: Serbia in EU benefits Russia

Serbia’s EU integration will not be any threat to Russia—on the contrary, Russia will only benefit from it, says President Boris Tadić.

Until the recent debacle, the US ruled the Middle East through Israel so I think that the Russians would want someone to look after their interests in the EU. Russia has other issues to contend with and needs a trusted friend to ensure the EU dances to Russian tunes and not the US.

Watch and see how Serbia is on the path to ruling the EU on behalf of a close friend. If I was an Albanian living in Kosovo I would be very worried, very worried indeed. It is an exciting time for those that can see what is happening in the world. Read Carl Bildt’s statement today in B92 about not imposing a solution in Bosnia – if this was 1999 they would have immediately imposed sanctions on Serbia, but this is not 1999. This is a new age and a new master is arriving.

I watched Bildt giving a press conference and you could see the bile rising to his mouth at the frustration over these talks – Bosnia as is till EU is bankrupt or agrees to RS breaking away. In fact RS could start these processes right now, but why spend your own resources when the EU has to do it for you.

If I was Croatia I would be worried on many fronts. The latest outburst by another fascist that’s head of HTV has not gone unnoticed in the EU and the story is all over Europe. There is now an accepted perception not only amongst ordinary EU citizens but their political leadership that Croatians are fascists and that the EU has backed the wrong side – why do you think that Stipe Mesic is beside himself over the latest outburst demanding action. Oh, if you think that the old line of ‘I was misquoted” that will not work, nor will an apology.

I recommended your comment because I found no anti-Serbian notes in it. Yes Tadic is sending signals to Brussels … But I have to disagree with you for Russia does not mind to have another friendly country in EU. If Tadic is smart enough he will gain much for his people both from Russia and EU. I guess The Middle Of The Road policy invented once by Tito is good for Serbia today.

We do not feel jealous cause mutual sympathies of the two people are hard to destroy. Much greater persons ( like the two late Joes ) than the current Presidents has failed to do so. Our annual various form economic aid to the Ukraine and Belorussia exceeds USD 10 Bln. and if the Serbs do not take lessons from Luka and Ush they can have much wider support of their economy than the contracts signed today.

Regards !

STOP IT, MR. TADIC!!! Get your mind AWAY fom the EU for just a couple of days and concentrate on properly hosting Mr. Medvedev. Not only is it poor manners, but you may also lose an opportunity for greater Russian cooperation. And right now, Russia is the best friend that Serbia has.

You can´t have it all Tadic.

Either you give your country to the same hostile powers that released the hounds of hell on Serbia or you join with your true friend, Russia and develop stronger ties to other free countries of the word like Brazil China Venezuela to name a few..
