"Suuuure! That's why EULEX want's to bypass KPS and talk directly to MUP. One more thing! EULEX was behind these arrests not the KPS. The KPS wouldn't even be able to bring a cat down from a tree much less arrest suspected criminals."

Mike C,

You are assuming the KPS can't shoot straight!

"KPS is better and are doing a better job than MUP. When did MUP arrest their own policeofficers for taking bribes?"
Demi

That's because no MUP are taking bribes.

So, applying your correction to 'sj's statement, we get...
"What about the other 9,000 KPS? Who is going to arrest them?"

Why arrest them when they are doing such a good job arresting criminals ? Even criminal policeofficers. And these 9000 police KPS members has secured the lives of the K-albanians and K-serbs in Kosovo. Before 1999 when KPS diden't exist and MUP were in Kosovo there was no safety for at least the albanian population in Kosovo.

What about the corrupt members of Pristina's quasi-government? They accept and deal out more bribes than anyone in Kosovo. It's the classic trickle-down scenario. But it has started, some are already off to the brick hotel.

Probably more like the 12 were arrested for not accepting more bribes and allowing more drugs/human slaves/etc through like the other 9000 police/criminal helpers do. ;-)

Seriously though, all corrupt officials, Serb and Albanian should be rooted out.

The rule of law is advancing in Kosova. More it advance more solid is Kosova independence. Independence recognition and real independence are connected to each other but are not the same thing.

Any way, that's a good news.

Hahahaha, so it seems that Serbs and Albanians seem to have no trouble working together when it comes to matters of crime!!
(Radoslav, 20 October 2009 12:44)

You are absolutaly right. Criminal is a crimnal and crime knows no boundaries.

sj,
The number is not 3000, but 9000 KP.
