This is a war crime at it's worst. To force civilians to walk through a mine field is a crime against humanity. How can the Croats and Serbs ever have neighbourly co-operation when continued stories like this one keep popping up every month. War Criminals must be punished to the fullest extent. This is just proves that the JNA was a one sided force who assisted the Serb irregulars and not a neutral force as Milosevic's government tried to claim.

"the men from Lovas"

How do we know they were civilians? They may very well have been Croat forces and what happened was a firefight with Serbian forces and during which, some might have run into a mine field.

Were there even any women killed? Were the men all in the military age-range? Do the autopsies even show torture?

I think the Croats may be embellishing the victims of a skirmish combined with mine accidents. For all we know the Croats may have started the attack against Serbs when the Serbs turned the tables and ended up killing the attackers.
