I agree with your point Niall.
It worries me when I read the views of some of our 'side'.
A few days back we had the gem of a couple of posters lining up to say that Serbia should surrender it soverignty and join Russia! It doesn't make any sense to be patriotic nationalist but to want to subjugate your country to a foreign power - no matter who it is.

And a true democracy cannot and must not just consist of right wing parties - just as they should not consist purely of left wing parties.

SPS will have finished its job ordained by RUS by next elections: to keep Tadic in check from going to far Westward. I hope to see them poll under 5% & get booted from political life for good in the next elections. Serbia needs 3 parties: DSS, SNS & SRS which are the most popular parties as per latest polls. These 3 will keep Serbia balanced when they learn to cooperate. Any more parties weaken us.

Are you serious? P**s up and brewery springs to mind. The SPS are doing a good job in government. Serbia needs a strong and viable left wing, socialist presense as you rightly said to keep Tadic & co (as well as the LDP) in check as well as to see that the discredited neo-liberal policies of slash & burn and privitisation that hurts ordinary workers are not implemented in Serbia.

The 3 parties you mentioned are nothing but a disorganised rabble. Serbia is on the right course both in terms of Kosmet and rapprochment with the EU/Russia-China

"This above all concerns [our] territorial integrity".

That is all Serbia is interested. Never has been interested about the people living in Kosova.

Medvedev will say "we support Serbia's integrity in Kosova". What is wrong say that? Happy with that?

Will Medvedev say that Russua will support Serbia if it decide to take Kosova by force? I doubt he would even think about it.

Russia would be ready to recognise Kosova's independence if the West would say "OK" to the "independence" of Abkahzia and South Ossetia although I am not suggesting that will be the case.
By showing a growing hostility towards Kosova Albanians, Serbia is not making any favours to itself.
