Do not exist" with those right they have!!! i don't care what some of you has to say they don't have but one thing no Serbian minority in the world and I mean no where have that much or any minority around the world have what Constitution of Kosova has offered to them but people like one day it will make it possible to be vanished those rights and I feel sorry for those people Serbs in kosovo are being violated from people like you..
(argo, 18 October 2009 07:07)

Thank you for giving Serbs their rights in their own country. So decent of you to snatch a part of Serbia away and then offer the Serbs more rights than anyone else would have.
Are they the right to be escorted by NATO to church and school? Are they the right to be attacked and in some cases murdered without anyone even investigating?

What rights are you talking about here?

The US wanted Milosevic out, and to build their military camp in the Balkans. They have achieved this long ago, and will all but leave soon. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you will have to one day deal with Serbia. There is no alternative.

Just curious as to if this whole thing was to build Camp Bondsteel, why do say the US will be leaving soon?

"Only when Serbia recognizes independence, otherwise it will all be gone. Easy come easy go. IF Serbia or Serbs want AP benefits, they must recognize it in full. (arta)"

-- Says who? Pristina? Do they have any clout over this? Do they have any authority over what you say? Thaci can't even get a bunch of Serbian pensioners 5km outside Pristina to march to his tune, let alone coax get Belgrade to acquiesce. The United States itself has said it doesn't expect Serbia to recognize Kosovo, and the EU has stated recognizing Kosovo is not a requisite for Serbia's ascension. So I fail to see your logic in thinking that Serbia must recognize first before the amenities that already exist and are already functioning be legitimized. You still seem to think Pristina has some relevancy in the lives of K Serbs and its relationship with the EU. Even if they do vote on November 15, do you honestly believe they're going to willingly incorporate themselves within Pristina's network? Do you *really* think that?

Decentralization and rights but only if they don't violate the Kosovo constitution.

Thanks for that. Please stop keeping on begging Serbs to parcipate in any election and STOP blaming the Albanians and the other for their misfortunes.
NO DECENTRALISATION should happen in Kosova until Serbs are made to participate into Kosova's institutions. Central Government should exercise its authority all over the territory of Kosova. Serbia should never be allowed to join the EU withoug recognising Kosova's independence. If that happen Kosova should join Albania and end of the story.

You are right. K-Serbs HAVE authorities elected in legal local elections of Republic of Serbia. So - they don't must participated in illegal elections of pseudostate.

If You know - authorities elected in serbian elections - today fully cooperated with UNMIK and EULEX.

EA,

Decentralization will go on whether you or Priština likes it or not. You are clearly not in the driver's seat. You see, in order to give some sort of semblance that Kosovo is this multiethnic paradise no one (including yourself) believes, the international community needs to do everything possible to keep the Serbs that are still *in* Kosovo from leaving. If they can ever get those 200,000+ Serbs that left to come back, it would certainly be a feat. But that can only happen if Serb institutions have no connectivity to Albanian Priština (that's why the north is functioning as smoothly as it is). Get ready to lose three more municipalities in less than a month, courtesy of Feith, regardless of whether the K Serbs vote in the coming election or not.

Secondly, Priština was/is held to the policies of the Ahtisaari Plan, which *mandates* Serbian self-rule in Kosovo. That includes the virtual administrative autonomy of the Serbian Orthodox Church and its properties too. That means ZERO control by Priština, and, according to the AP, parallel structures can be formed with Belgrade. Decentralization is what your people *agreed* to when they signed away their future to the US. If you don't like it, I strongly suggest your leaders take that up with Washington the next time they’re in town for a meet’n’greet, though I seriously doubt they'll risk my country's political (and financial) ire.

Third, your failsafe solution of Kosovo joining with Albania shows your true colors that all of the measures you want in place to stymie the Serbs stems from your own personal feelings of Greater Albanian nationalism. Thanks for at least being honest at the end, but if no one was interested in allowing a Greater Serbia to manifest in the 1990s, what makes you think anyone's going to tolerate a Greater Albania?

The facts are, Kosovo i Metohija is still a Serbian province, administered under UN resolution 1244.
-------
Keep dreaming. Anyway, Serbs make 5% (FIVE) of the population. About 50% vote anyway normally so we're talking about 2-3% of the population. Already dozens of Serb parties have been formed and are participating: no elections, no municipalities.

The EC just ordered Tadic to cut the illegal and immoral payments for serbian structures so everything is falling in place.

Sorry, EA, but you don't make the rules in Kosovo i Metohija. Could and should and would, are all words used by losers. The facts are, Kosovo i Metohija is still a Serbian province, administered under UN resolution 1244. Why is that so hard for Albanians to understand? K_Albanians have tried this land grab several times in recent history. It din't work then, it work now. Do not be fooled thinking that the US can give you this Serbian land to rule. The US wanted Milosevic out, and to build their military camp in the Balkans. They have achieved this long ago, and will all but leave soon. "...the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) sent its appeal "to the people of Kosovo and Metohija not to participate in the local elections and not to respond to calls from the authorities of the self-proclaimed republic of Kosovo". That also Serbia's political stance.

Thanks for that. Please stop keeping on begging Serbs to parcipate in any election and STOP blaming the Albanians and the other for their misfortunes.
