The state secretary said that little had been expected of yesterday's Security Council session, but that it was now clear that the permanent members were divided into two blocs: one that had recognized Kosovo’s unilateral independece and saw the solution therein; and the other, no less important, which viewed it as a violation of international law and a precedent which could upturn the entire international legal system.

Ej Oli, do your math . UNSC is not divided in two block, rather is 90% pro Kosova and 10% pro Serbia. Therefore i can't say is 50/50 is 90/10. You know better , you were sitting in Kosova Parlament for some time and you were in same bed with Kosova govermant. switching side to highest bidder is all good to me. Hope it last.

"Now everybody in New York is waiting to hear the outcome of the case before the International Court of Justice,“ he pointed out."

Thanks for sharing that information with us. Now when you say "everybody" did you mean Serbia as well? Tell us will Serbia accept Kosova's independence if Court's Opinion goes against Serbia's expectations? Jeremic said "we will never recognise Kosova's independence. Upsss! So Serbia is waiting to hear only what likes to hear....) Do NOT EXPECT Albanian to react differently.

He is kind of slow if he did not know that the permanent members of the UNSC are divided on the Kosovo issue until yesterdays meeting.
Also I do not know how someone can stand in public and claim Kosovo is forever a part of Serbia and then say that all decisions are made in New York.

THIS has been my point....is Kosovo's UDI worth upturning the entire international legal system??? Are satisfying the Albanians worth it....or is satisfying the US to have Camp Bondsteel in non-Serb territory??? If rational minds don't take over soon, the entire world will be heading for global catastrophy simply because of a minor political conflict. Wake up world....and Albanians- the entire world does not owe you freedom or independence- freedom is something you EARN....not simply given to you because you are political pawns for greater powers!
