where is the logic in all this. 500 thousand people can have their own state but 2 million can't? Are you for real???
(Kosova-USA, 16 October 2009 14:00)

Yes I am for real. Are you having trouble grasping what is and what is not against the law? It has nothing to do with numbers.
You think just because you have the numbers (by over breeding and illegal immigration) you can take a chunk of a country away from someone? Are you for real??

Montenegro was a republic and Serbia was not opposed to it leaving.

Kosovo was never a republic but only a province and therefore has no right to leave without Serbia's approval.

I hope I was clear and simple enough in my explanation. You seem to have trouble with grasping this.

If that is the case, then How come Montenegro is no longer part of Serbia???

Hasn't this already been covereda a million times?
Serbia is a successor to Yugoslavia therefore Kosovo is a part of Serbia.

Geez some people are slow learners.

I guess you never had a chance to read th entire text of 1244 R. There is no such thing on that text as you stated. Kosova is mentioned as part of Yugoslavia, but Yugo no longer exists.

I see Albanians are still angry that they haven't managed to become legitimate.

What happened to all those recognitions you were promissed only a few weeks ago?

Isn't Jeremic and Russia doing the same thing for different purpose? Do you think that readers here in B92 are naive?

Correction - UN protectorate of Kosovo as stipulated under UNSC resolution 1244, or have you Albo's forgotten that the UN are in charge, not you.
(Radoslav, 15 October 2009 14:24)

Radoslav just thought to remind you that Serbia is not in charge (and that is what counts).
Last time I looked outside there was not a single Serbian soldier, not a single Serbian Tank (you know the Russian T55, Russian T72 and YU M84 tanks you were so proud of). And guess what,….not a single Serbian State Policeman in Kosovo, no MUP and no Serbian Special police nor Serbian Paramilitary.
So Radoslav, explain to me how is Serbia in charge as I cannot see that?

And did I forget to mention that 1244 states you are a province of Serbia. Just thought i'd remind you as some of you seem to have a very poor memory.

Radoslav, I think my favorite part of Resolution 1244 is 3. Demands in particular that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia put an
immediate and verifiable end to violence and repression in Kosovo, and begin and
complete verifiable phased withdrawal from Kosovo of all military, police and
paramilitary forces according to a rapid timetable, with which the deployment of
the international security presence in Kosovo will be synchronized
The real crust of 1244 supported by Russia, China and the rest of the UNSC.

The report noted the low number of returnees, stating that 236 people, including seven Albanians, 31 Serbs and 177 Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians had returned in June and July this year.

And the UN calls this "progress"??? At this rate, normalization of the prewar population should occur in about 248 generations from now. If you look at the real reason why the Serbs are not returning to Kosovo (or even to Croatia for that matter) is because of the hostile attitudes, and the outright arrogance, of the K-Alb criminal politicians. So please, UN politicians, please don't say that there is progress in Serbs returning to Kosovo....and admit that your policies have failed.

Jeremic should remember the last face off of Kosovan foreign minister and the serbian president.he was also present in the hall of the SC.He should be very careful with half-truth or lies.
