Peter the real issue is not whether to say hell to multiculturalism.

The real issue is to ask why people would choose to leave their country in the first place when the vast majority would stay near their family.

So long as rich, western countries deliberately and cruely monopolise the world's resources at the expense of poorer countries I will support the rights of those that seek asylum.

That is the real story. Count yourself lucky that you are from a relatively rich country.

I personally will always support the rights of those less well off, in my society as well as in the world - and if that hurts rich or selfish people then sobeit.

BTW I am spending some time in the UK in an area where there are many Poles. When I hear nasty comment about Poles from uneducated British I think to myself - at least they are prepared to work rather than complain. Would you sympathise with those British? Not me.

Olaf, what makes Germany great is their precision, mentality, willing to push the envelop of society, their inventions, their perfection... what does this have to do with multiculturalism? All that this is doing is dumbing down Germany's population, because the education levels have to be watered down so all those millions of immigrants can actually handle it.

There is nothing good about multiculturalism, it is just a pathetic excuse for opening borders to their benmefit and not to the local populations who are responsible for the greatness of their developed economies. I say to hell with it, it brought USSR and Yugoslavia down, how are you so sure it won't bring EU and USA down?

Sorry Peggy. Nobody like Serbs around here. Maybe just a bit more than Turks. Albanians I just saw a few, I can't make a comment about them.

As far as I know Serbs have been immigrating to Germany for many decades now and have enjoyed a good reputation. They have been valued by their employers and were always welcome in Germany.

I wonder on whose behalf you are talking about.

Well done Germany. I just wish my NuLabour Govt would do the same and not just with K-Albanians. However, a good start would be be with them - then carry on with a few more bugus asylum seekers. Then maybe, just maybe the language I here in the High Street will be English rather than the babble of foreign tongues.

If it was your relatives somehow I don't think you would feel the same way about them being forcibly returned to kosovo.

pre 14 godina

lol why is everyone up in arms. Kosovo is independent so send back those who left for Germany, EU members and other area around the world. I have heard of refugees going on vacation to Kosovo. That does not add up, if so many say it is independent so send them home. Ask the government where are all those jobs? Right nothing but a corrupt government stealing the money as usual. If you had a better PM Haradina(spelling) i believe things will be better and he will be respected. He was thrown under the bus and sent to the hague as a sacrficial lamb and was found not guilty. I am never pro anyone but this movie should end. It was all a farce, Bosnia suffered more than what was in Kosovo and they brought it all on themselves.

For years, Germany has been trying to reduce its contingent of Kosovo refugees, offering them financial incentives and bearing the costs for their return, though the majority have turned a deaf ear to that “assistance,” the daily states.

Well, replace Germany by Switzerland, the rest of the text is the same...

Of course our k-a friends didn't think about this hidden agenda..., but you cannot have it all!
You can now thank your muppet show govnt for all the white lies that they gave you!

Time to wake up and get serious, stealing somebodyelse's land is easy, taking responsibility for it's own people is another story. No surprise that the nationalists are claiming that none of them are albanians, they all came from planet Mars!

So, for all the smart el-dorado expats k-a posters, time to get back to help out, your province is calling you!

Mladen Sudarevic

pre 14 godina

Why return these refugees 10 years after they came to Germany? Have they not become outstanding members of German society? Are they not fully contributing members of German society and their economic engine? Do they not pay taxes like anyone else? Surely they are not a strain on German social welfare system. :) Let us face it, Germany has its own agenda and these freeloaders are no longer welcome for a good reason. Most of them are strain on Germanys generous and nearly depleted welfare system. Their cultural values and work ethic (or the lack there of) is not in line with their host nation. It costs far less to give these people few thousand Euros and get rid of them once and for all than it is to support them for the until they die. Germany made the good and calculated move. It is now time for these 14000 people to return to Kosovo and enjoy their freedoms and prosperity in this new Republic where all non-Albanians are treated equally (like crap).

Ron

It would make more sense to send the 10,000 Roma in Belgrade. They conspired against Albanians, many were collaborating the Serbian army. They should never be allowed to set foot in Albanian lands again.

Keep them in Germany or send them to Belgrade!
(Erjon, 15 October 2009 16:17)

Colaborating? Kosovo was and is a Serbian province. So if I workd with the Serbian/YU army then, I am a calaborator? Very strange!

This is mainly why Germany want Kosovo to be independent so that they have a place to return illegal Albanians. I suspect that the number of returned refuges will grow larger and that the UK, France and several other countries start deporting their illegal Albanians too. Had Kosovo remained in Serbia’s control this could not be done. Does the average Albanian not see this? Does he/she think that Western Counties really have some fairly Tale love affair with them? Sorry Leonidas, but multiculturalism is what makes Germany a great country. Unfortunately, you in Balkans are not ready for that. Maybe in 200 years, maybe never. The main problem is that you don't want to be multicultural, you want to immigrate and live with your own culture. This is not only about Turks or muslims, you Slavs are so bad in that issue as them

Mike

pre 14 godina

One must wonder why so many Kosovo refugees (presumably Albanian) in Germany needed to be forcibly sent back, rather than pack up and move back following "independence". As the Swiss keeps asking, if Kosovo is supposed to be the new Albanian Zion, why are so many still living in Europe?

Leonidas

pre 14 godina

It is a bit too late for the Germans to realise that multiculturism doesn't work.

The problems the Germans and other European countries have been facing are connected with the importation of backwards looking Muslims into their soil who are not then required to change their ways and customs to suit the country they are joining. They have never been challenged in concepts of honour killings, misogyny, in-breeding so carry on regardless. They should have been challenged years ago, doing it now is locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Evol

let me recap: first they drop humanitarian (and surgical) bombs. Then they open the doors to any prima facie refugee. See the conection? They recognized Kosovo so they could have a place to send you back.
-----
At least 50K Serbs will be returned next year, just ask Delic, he will tell you. Schengen has a repatriation clause and Delic was beggin for money to integrate the potential returnees.

P.S. The Roma will start to go to their original location as soon as they are dropped in Kosova.

Leonidas: The Roma don't generally integrate so you can't blame Germany

don't worry/those who were from kosovo will live in kosovo, those who said to be from kosovo to gain asylum will go to their real place,or try to be now romanian or bulgar or serbian!!
and if they have not been able to spare some money in deutchland, they can not complain to kosovo but only to themselves!

bganon, Who are you that have a priviledge to speak on behalf of Albanians. The time of Milosevic is long gone and you should make proper adjustment in you vocabulary. None can speak on behalf of someone else and when he/she is a Serb, that is pure an insult even when you use sarcasm.

Just a large majority: "There are reportedly 14,000 Kosovar refugees in Germany, 10,000 of whom are Roma."

Leonidas&Co posts sound like the posts of someone who has lost the bus driver or builders job, has no education etc and blame everything on foreighners.

aRTA has a good point in there. Those asylum seekers can be from enywhere in Europe claiming that they are Kosovars just to get easier the asylum. previously they used to claim that they are from Serbia.

This is mainly why Germany want Kosovo to be independent so that they have a place to return illegal Albanians. I suspect that the number of returned refuges will grow larger and that the UK, France and several other countries start deporting their illegal Albanians too. Had Kosovo remained in Serbia’s control this could not be done. Does the average Albanian not see this? Does he/she think that Western Counties really have some fairly Tale love affair with them? Time to wake up!

As we cannot afford providing the necessary services and housing and most of these people will now join the ranks of the unemployed, well its a great thing to do - a really human thing!

The only ones really celebrating - German racists.

Yes, of course they will return them to their homeland. They will return them to, like they have all the others, Belgrade. And we all know who the majority of these people are...romas. And just like the others Germany deported back to Serbia, they all ended up in Belgrade and Novi Sad, despite the fact that they had no idea how to even speak Serbian..... God bless germany, the EU, and all of their mentally incompacitated plans.

Evol

let me recap: first they drop humanitarian (and surgical) bombs. Then they open the doors to any prima facie refugee. After a decade of legal limbo they ship them and their generations back to (what in the meantime became) the republic of wonderland. Fortress Europe, please remember: what goes around, comes around...

Albanian land? What happened with the tune of 'multicultural Kosovo'? So maybe this 'Kosova' is a second Albanian state...

Well, I feel pity for the poor people. Let's see how Kosovo institutions treat them!

Mladen Sudarevic

HE WHO SPEAKS THE TRUTH

pre 14 godina

lol why is everyone up in arms.

Peter Sudyka

Milan

pre 14 godina

Most likely majoriity of them are from different parts of old Yug,they claimed that they are from Kosova. They should be deported to their proper countries where they belong. If they are Kosovars , then bring them home.
(Kosova-USA, 15 October 2009 09:54)

You are right. Similar is with pseudo K-Albanians - tens of thousands of Albanians from Albania come after war to Kosovo and they described themselves as "refugees from Kosovo". They should be expelled from province.

Peggy

pre 14 godina

Sorry Peggy. Nobody like Serbs around here. Maybe just a bit more than Turks. Albanians I just saw a few, I can't make a comment about them.
(Olaf, 16 October 2009 13:17)

Around where Olaf? What part of the world are you talking about?
As far as I know Serbs have been immigrating to Germany for many decades now and have enjoyed a good reputation. They have been valued by their employers and were always welcome in Germany.

I wonder on whose behalf you are talking about.

The Swiss

pre 14 godina

For years, Germany has been trying to reduce its contingent of Kosovo refugees, offering them financial incentives and bearing the costs for their return, though the majority have turned a deaf ear to that “assistance,” the daily states.

Well, replace Germany by Switzerland, the rest of the text is the same...

Of course our k-a friends didn't think about this hidden agenda..., but you cannot have it all!

Not me.
