"As much as the hate-America crowd loves to talk up Russia, Brazil, & India; these countries combined do not have the purchasing power of the United States.

A purchasing power that is based largely on credit and borrowed funds. Big deal!

The US was able to amass a huge trade deficit painlessly for decades because the greenback was the world's reserve currency. They were buying stuff with money they never really had in the first place. Payback time however is now hovering and everyone in the US government is worried stiff.

Tough luck for the Yankees however as the world is no longer blind and are moving away from the greenback. Meantime many Americans continue to think that money grow on trees.

Dear yenks,

Move more instead of sitting in front of telly all day.You will be much healthier and less brainwashed. And of course get rid of that junk food.Such moves can bring more benefits than any reform. So once more :move, stay healty and do not bomb others with no reasons.

Anyone who thinks any of this has been easy is clueless. It's pretty obvious you haven't been paying attention whats going in America. Obama has had to fight for every inch so far and it won't get any easier....

The hate-America crowd never ceases to amaze me. The hate-America crowd bashes America for not having universal health care and than bashes America regarding the amount of money it will cost to run universal health care. At some point you may understand the symbiotic relationship between China and the U.S. China is an exporter of goods. America is China's largest (by far) consumer of goods. If not for America, China would have nowhere to sell a majority of their goods. It is in China's best interest to continue business as usual with America. Being a large manufacurer does you no good if you dont have an equally large consumer. As much as the hate-America crowd loves to talk up Russia, Brazil, & India; these countries combined do not have the purchasing power of the United States.

Approving is the easy part -- you just raise your hand to vote and then sign on the dotted line to pass the legislation.

Now comes the hard part -- finding the money, or shall I say, finding foreigners still sucker enough in spite of everything last year to lend you their hard earned money. Don't bother knocking on Beijing's door, they are busy diversifying away from the greenback and cutting their losses.
