Tom and Frank,

Don't worry about this so-called autonomy. It is just a farce. It is not like autonomy in South Tyrol or on those Finish Islands with Swedish population. Hungarians and others will continue to have no say in Vojvodina. This "autonomy" can be described as more power of Serbs of Novi Sad versus Belgrade.

Wrong freedom. Last census they were 65%, refugees were excluded. [With refugees the figure is closer to 70%]. Afterall 40% refugees are in Vojvodina, 30% in Belgrade.]

Furthermore. Look at the historical demoghrapgixs. The rise in the Serb population is basically inline with the fall of self-declared Yugoslavs and Montenegrins between the censuses. Logically, given what numbers people claim of refugees they couldn't of been included.

Oh Bojan Kostres and LSV. They've been wrong all year. They've been claiming stuff like this for a year, it never happened. The statute has been amended several times in that period, to their constant approval.

Several times they threatened to topple the government. But I think that in the changes in the last year, they know Tadic could drop them easily, Cedo wouldn't take them back.

They're aware of this. Most polls exclude them from DS and ZeS. They barely get 5% of the vote in vojvodina (not even 1.5% for all of Serbia).

Parties like LSV are the biggest problems in the Serbian government

bojan Kostreš called the citizens of Vojvodina to boycott the Serbian constitutional referendum in 2006. But the people did not boycott this event as the majority of the population is Serbian.

so in other words he is trying again what does he think the Serbian population decreased well it has not and actually it increased in places where Hungarians were a majority and now the Serbians are only small% below in a couple of those little cities so i dont know what this guy wants and the Serbian population is over 70% Serbs and the rest of the population they are decreasing maybe you should ask the people what they want a second time lol maybe he wants just to fill his pockets with money hard earned Serbian citizen money that is.

why dont you ask the Serbian people that live there what they want since its over 70% Serbs and then talk other wise no statute for anyone, and live in serbia like people in other countries do because this is a pathetic game.
