I am disappointed Jeremic used this event to further push his parties "European ideals" as if King Alexander ever thought there would be such a thing as a European Union... He was not a "European statesman" he was a Serbian statesman!

Oh and there's no such think as a United Europe and there never will be.

RE: First victim of Fascism

Although this statement is partially true, the Karadjeordje dyanasty has blood in it's hands, namely the brutal assasination of King Alexander Obrenovic I where we was slain along with his wife by a military coup led by Colonel Dragutin Dimietriejevic.

King Alexander I was a unifying force and a strong believer in south slav unity namely Yugolsavia, Nikola Pasic of the Serbian Radical Party was not as enthusiastic.

Croatian officials began to distance themselves also with Yugoslav unity. Stepan Radic was shot in the most brutal manner by a Montenegrin parliament member, Punisa Racic. King Alexander Karadjeordjevic did not take swift action and Punisa Racic only got a slap in the wrist for the murder of Croatian elected official.

For all our visitors/commentors to B92 that may not know what Ustashe are:

Ustashe = Nazi
Nazi Germany = Nazi Croatia

Fitting that today's Croatia still celbrates it's demonic past with concerts and monuments dedicated to it's Nazi Past.

Samo napred.
