I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Thompson's succinct assessment of the West playing favorites. Goran Hadzic, a war criminal? Really? How is he different from those Albanian terrorists and even Franjo Tudjman in Croatia...he, with major US support, authorized the forceful and violent eviction of a quarter million Serbs from Srpska Krajina in 1995. The West and the Hague Tribunal cannot pick and choose, but apparently they have made the decision to paint the Serbs with a scarlet 'A' and prescribe their burning at the stake. It is wrong to say that Serbs were wrong when others did more atrocious acts that were condoned and encouraged.

One could say exactly the same about what the KLA and its criminal extremists did in Kosovo. "A joint criminal enterprise designed to rid the area of its non-Albanian population and bring it under Albanian control..." Exactly what the KLA dreamed of and then accomplished with the aid of the US Air Force.
Funny how one conflict is endorsed by the West and another similar one is called a "criminal enterprise". What a shameful double standard
