i know very well that it's hard to find genuine good news out there these days, but all i'm saying is that there are bigger problems in the world than some nutcase who's seen batman too many times, and like the joker, starts sending death threats to newspapers... it's people like Vučinić that should go to an asylum and not people like Li. That's where I was going with that...

Also, just so it's on the record, after the Karadzic arrest, Vasić did call the demonstrators on the streets 'fasisticka omladina' or fascist youth. (and as for Korać, don't even get me started on the LDP...)

I read your posts, understand where you're coming from and respect your opinion... I just think you should lighten up a little... Search Debbie Downer on youtube, that should cheer you up ;)

An interesting case although quite what a beheading schizophrenic who is in a lunatic asylum, has to do with Vucinic makes the mind boggle. Although perhaps the answer is in there somewhere.

Besides, I've never been a fan of the lowest denominator game. If by quoting me an injustice you are excusing an injustice then we might as well abandon the law for good.

I condemn both, not justify one in the context of another.

I'm sorry bgagnon, but everytime I read your posts it's like I start hearing Debbie Downer (SNL) in my head... this guy was probably drunk or whatever, did something stupid and now has to spend 1/2 a year of his life in prison... Last year in Canada, this guy named Vince Li BEHEADED a young passenger on a full Greyhound bus... guess how much jail time he got??

I'll let you google that one...

No he isn't serving any time in prison actually. A suspended sentence is just that.

Its a pity there isn't a lot to be pleased about these days but I think that this type of behaviour should be clamped down upon.

Its the 'let it go' attitude in Serbia that is the danger at the moment. Not the 'DD' phenomenon... Besides its better to listen to what somebody says rather than the way you believe they are saying it, isn't it?

Have any lessons been learnt?
Vucinic is exactly the type of primitive type who believes that threats and violence can help achieve political goals.

This has become a bigger issue in Serbia today but yet nothing changes. Only a slap on the wrist.
