This problem was discussed in the first EULEX programme report (available at the EULEX website). Dealing with judicial corruption was listed as one of the major desires of Kosovo's citizens.

Some of the suggestions in the report were pretty basic - providing enough space so judges don't have to hold sessions in their offices, raising their pay to a level that makes petty bribery less likely, avoiding almost automatic retrials are the ones I remember offhand. So there's a problem. It's being dealt with.

You think this doesn't happen in Serbia proper?

Kosovo IS Serbia proper. At least according to the UN. Therefore, yes. 'This' does happen in Serbia 'proper'.

For serbshere/albanians do not consider this judicial system as theirs! It is unmik who chose this juges, despite the fact that some of them were your very good collaborators and have condamned thousands of albanians to jail... So nothing new under unmik justice, same as during serbian one!

This is the most incredible thing I have read here so far. Please present some sort of evidence to back your statement with.

Not one murder of a Serb is solved to date and you say that thousands have been convicted. For what, when, who and how where is it written?

"EULEX says the judicial system in Kosovo is not sufficiently protected from outside influence, and that Kosovo judges are working under difficult conditions."

Noooo! You don't say! I am shocked! And stupid me thought that Kosovo was democratic, fair, civilized and the economic engine of the entire Balkans. Ha ha ha! Not even the Europeans and America can help this hopeless case! Soon we will see a white flag on every EULEX building in Kosovo. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Wonder how long before Europe comes to us and begs us to take back control?
