Yes it is as "perfect" as most burger fed overweight american women.Maybe you belive in such childish statments over there but in other parts of the world it would make people either laugh or cry.Latter ones would be those whose families were killed out by that perfect US killing machine.

On the contrary David it was your country that supported Saddam in the 1980s and not me.You recall the meetings and the handshakes between Saddam abd Rumsfield when you supported and supplied him with weapons against Iran.

You follow Bush's and the neocons arguments that anyone that disagrees with them is against them.

As to your allegation that Greeks committed crimes against the Turks my my answer will be is the other way round. It was the Turks who committed genocide against Christian populations
ie Armenians and Greeks.

... by criticizing the United States involvement in Iraq, you are actually defending Saddam Hussein!

If one of these Islamic-fascists had information that could save your family...

America will do what it has to in order to protect our land from anymore attacks...

1. The US invasion of Iraq was ILLEGAL! Saddam was not the nicest guy, but hey, there was no terrorism in Iraq when he was in charge and he posed no realistic threat to 'your land'.

2. Where was this policy when the CIA created the Taliban to fight the Russians or when they supplied and supported the Iranian/Saudi Mujahadeen in Bosnia or when Clinton took the KLA of the FBI's terrorist organization list?

3. If you're referring to the 1st WTC bombing, 9/11 or the U.S.S. Cole, well in those cases America attacked 'your land'.

4. Many would disagree with this one...

The United States was not the only country that believed Iraq was manufacturing WMD's. But as usual we were the only one willing to do something about it. Saddam had every opportunity to come clean but he chose not to. Saddam let his pride/nationalism get in the way. He did not believe America would invade his country. He was wrong. If he had cooperated with the UN inspectors and complied with American demands he might still be in power. Do you realize by criticizing the United States involvement in Iraq, you are actually defending Saddam Hussein! It's hard for me to understand how your anti-American point of view has made it ok to defend a dictator..

The rendition program and the selective use of torture are necessary evils when fighting the war on terror. If one of these Islamic-fascists had information that could save your family, I'm sure you would have no problem water boarding him or sending him to Eastern Europe to be roughed up for that information. America will do what it has to in order to protect our land from anymore attacks...

"I can go on and on and record CIA's partipation in overthrowing democratically elected goverments (Chile comes first in mind) and you could probably tell me the CIA had no part in the Iran_contra affair or in the death squads of the military Juntas in Latin American countries."

America, like every other country, may have done things that were wrong. Greeks were responsible for some pretty despicable actions during their history as well such (Turkish massacre in the early 20th century for example). That does not make what we did right but don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. No country or system is perfect, but America is the most perfect....

It was Colin Powel who admitted that the forged evidence he presented at the UN in 2003 about Saddam's WMDs was manufactured by the CIA.

You also recall the denials by G Tennet (CIA Director) and the Bush administration about the rendition programmes the CIA was running in many parts of the world.

You also recall the waterboarding torture practiced by the CIA and always denied by the Bush administration.Italian courts have demanded the extradition of 25 CIA agents involved in rendition and torture.

I can go on and on and record
CIA's partipation in overthrowing democratically elected goverments (Chile comes first in mind) and you could probably tell me the CIA had no part in the Iran_contra affair or in the death squads of the military Juntas in Latin American countries.

I don't know whether i should lough or cry with your claim that Iraq is an oasis of Democracy in the middle East.According to Iraqi goverment there were only 417 dead civilians in September and they only count the dead that arrive in the mortuaries in Bagdad.

I can really imagine the Saudi Kings, the mullahs in Iran and colonel Gaddafi introducing political parties and espousing democratic values in the very near future.

You really think the CIA is behind 9/11? Did you hear that the U.S. was also responsible for the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia by testing secret underwater bombs? I also heard the U.S. created the AIDS virus in order to commit secret genocide in poor countries. I have heard leaders from Venezuela, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Bolivia, and Zimbabwe (among others) all blame the U.S. for every problem under the sun so you must be right! I woke up this morning with a pimple on my face and guess what? I think the U.S. government may have put something in my water to cause it!!!

(David Wright, 7 October 2009 20:21)

1. Yes, 9/11 was clearly a false flag attack, a clever strategy employed by 'great leaders' such as Hitler and Nero.

2. Tesla, during the 30's discovered ways that High Frequency waves can be used to control weather, among other things (see H.A.A.R.P or the recent Chinese 60th anniversary demonstration)

3. There is overwhelming evidence that AIDS was either intentionally engineered or accidentally created (and left unchecked) for 'population control'. For this you can look up research by Dr. Jakob Segal or Leonard G. Horowitz.

4. Your pimple was probably not caused by one of the many chemicals you will find in your tap-water, but rather by food you ate, food which was approved by the FDA. And we all know how hard the FDA tries to get healthy food to its citizens...

The other alleged hijackers were said to be mainly Saudis. True after all the planes in the US were grounded for almost a week. On the third day only Saudi airplanes were allowed to fly in to the US and out picking up their nationals. Something sure stinks with the majority of the hijackers being fanatical Muslim Saudis and letting the Saudi Arabs leave. if it was another country terrorist the Americans would of bombed it and taken out its leadership. What did the Saudis promise to crack down on the radical Muslims and sell more oil to its favorite client the US. When all the country is radical and exports and finances its radical Muslim nonsense around the world and breeds more jihad terrorist in other countrys.

"The White House has admitted that the mastermind behind 911 was a Pakistani, Khaled Sheikh Mohammed. The other alleged hijackers were said to be mainly Saudis. So why attack Afghanistan? "

Because a Muslim extremist group with ties to Osama Bin Laden named the Taliban were in charge (and Saudi Arabia is one the America's largest oil suppliers). America had just suffered a terrorist attack that cost the lives of three thousand people and the ppunlic was out for blood. George Bush had no choice but to go to war...

I am not proud that Iraqi's were killed but I am happy that Americans were not. I was not the biggest supporter of the war in Iraq (I often think that Saddam would have been a big help with our current issues with Iran) but I will not cheer for America to lose a war. I know the anti-American group likes to dwell on the negatives, but millions of people are living free today because of the removal of Saddam Hussein.

Comparing Vietnam to Iraq is like comparing apples to oranges. Iraq is a democratic country in the heart of the middle east that will soon be the envy of the entire region. When the people of Iran, Libya, and Saudi Arabia start seeing how a real democracy works, they will demand the same for themselves.

What proof do the Americans have that bin Laden was behind 9/11. There is much more evidence of the CIA/ISI hand behind this sad event. The FBI have admitted that there is no evidence of bin Laden´s involvement in 9/11. Both Bush and Blair promised dossiers on the subject but neither has produced one which would stand up in a court of law. The only "evidence" is the word of Bush and Cheney, and they wouldn´t lie would they?

I agree with the Leonidas regarding Obama's mistake of viewing Afghanistan as a nation-building operation as opposed to a counterterrorism/counterinsurgency operation. I can understand why nation building was the priority in Iraq (its working) but cannot see the logic behind it in Afghanistan. This is a country that was perpetually in conflict and stuck in the stone age when we got there! Our mission was to destroy the Taliban and that mission has been accomplished (just like winning the war in Iraq)! I don't believe the U.S should abandon Afghanistan, instead we should focus our efforts on defeating the bad guys instead of helping the good guys.

"The truth is that America is in Afganistan to wage a regional struggle on behalf of the jewish lobby in US."

Oh really?!? I laugh everytime i read these type of loony/conspiracy theory statements that cannot be supported by any fact or evidence. I understand there are many people with an anti-America bias, but please dont allow that to skew the way you think into believing this type of rhetoric.

"I cannot see a way out for Obama apart from admitting publicly that the wars in Iraq and Afganistan were illegal wars perpetrated by the crazy neocons and president Dick Cherney and then start bringing the troops back home."

Everyone thought the same about Iraq two years ago and look how much has changed. Afghanistan has not been the focus of our military in quite some time, now that things have settled in Iraq (we won!), the military will have more resources to concentrate on Afghanistan/Pakistan. Victory in Afghanistan should not be measured by whether we leave it better than we found it (aka nation-building) but instead on how many terrorists we are aboe to kill (hopefully lots)

Obama has manifestly lost his way on this issue. During his pre-election campaign he wanted escalation in Afghanistan to root out Bin Laden and the Taliban. Now, the US has embarked on the abstract notion of nation building (nobody knows what it means).

The truth is thet America is in Afganistan to wage a regional struggle one behalf of the jewish lobby in US.

Obama is in catch 22 situation.
Any US troop reduction would be seen by the American public as a huge defeat (reminiscent of the Vietnam war) and would see Obama's popularity plummet. On the other hand, the daily deaths
of US soldiers has shown that any troop increase will be pointless and will only result in the deaths of more troops.

I think Obama's administration is also divided down the middle as far as Afganistan is concerned with Clinton being at odds with Biden and Obama in the middle.

I cannot see a way out for Obama apart from admitting publicly that the wars in Iraq and Afganistan were illegal wars perpetrated by the crazy neocons and president Dick Cherney and then start bringing the troops back home.

The truth is thet America is in Afganistan to wage a regional struggle one behalf of the jewish lobby in US.
(Leonidas, 7 October 2009 12:25)

Exactly. That is why I wrote before elections not to expect too much from Obama since you cannot be even a presisidential candidate without AIPEC approval In USA currantly.Among others you do not get enough media attention but there are other tools to make your bid for presidancy impossible if you do not join theire circle.Sad but true.
The elections in USA similarly to many other countries are just a big pupet show.and as opposed to NBA or NFL not worth too much attention.

The White House has admitted that the mastermind behind 911 was a Pakistani, Khaled Sheikh Mohammed. The other alleged hijackers were said to be mainly Saudis. So why attack Afghanistan?

Your gloating about winning the war in Iraq is the same crap the Americans were gloating about Vietnam.Just like Vietnam your politicians screwed up from the beginning by lying to your people with their BS claims of WMDS.

I congratulate you for being proud causing the death of more than one million Iraqis and the displacement of further seven million.

Iam sure history will be very
kind to your country.

Leonidas

pre 14 godina

On the contrary David it was your country that supported Saddam in the 1980s and not me.You recall the meetings and the handshakes between Saddam abd Rumsfield when you supported and supplied him with weapons against Iran.

You follow Bush's and the neocons arguments that anyone that disagrees with them is against them.

As to your allegation that Greeks committed crimes against the Turks my my answer will be is the other way round. It was the Turks who committed genocide against Christian populations
ie Armenians and Greeks.

Yes it is as "perfect" as most burger fed overweight american women.Maybe you belive in such childish statments over there but in other parts of the world it would make people either laugh or cry.Latter ones would be those whose families were killed out by that perfect US killing machine.
