pss,

No hard feelings. Don't worry. And by 'get a life' I mean: get over nationalism. We really do not need new states. Try to be happy in the state you live in. For Kosovars that is Serbia. For Wallones that is Belgium. For Sorbs (not Serbs) that is Germany.

No special deal for Kosovo. Get a life in Serbia. And for the rest: make life beautiful! We agree?

pss

pre 14 godina

Ron, thanks for the well wishes and I take it as an honor you think I am a Kosovar. But I am no more Albanian than I presume you are.
During my time in Kosovo I found the Albanian people very appreciative for what we did for them in 1999.

But reread many of your comments with an open mind and you will find that you spend 99% of the time trying to provoke Albanians and then throw in an international law sentence as a cover.
Your "get a life" comments are humorous in that is exactly what the people of Kosovo are doing!

Olf

If Milosevic has gone nothing has changed in Serbian policy. There is no point on changing the language when the director is still the same.
But I guess for people of limited intellegence changing the name is more than enough.
Read a bit os serbian new to find out what serbia thinks.

Ron

pre 14 godina

pss,

Sorry if my comments strike you as being anti Albanian. That is not what I am.

But:

(1) I expected the Albanians to be a bit more thankful to the people who saved them in 1999.

(2) I expected Albanians to obey international law. Just like Serbia should do. And Russia and the US.

That's all!

They day Albanians accept that Kosovo is just a Serbian province we will be very close to a solution!

Greetings from Holland, a real state. Wish you all the best is your Serbian province!

Just to add to his research, Jason you could also mention the 1000 new AK-47s that mysteriously disappeared from the KP evidence room in Srbica about a year and a half ago. Hmm what could have possibly happened?
(USA134, 5 October 2009 14:25)

First of all you are making up a story to suit your propaganda, and I tell you why. Your Serbica to Kosovars is called Skenderaj. To have 1000 brnad new AK vanish from a police station, first they had to be confiscated. The only place where over 700 brand new AK-47 that were ever confiscated in Kosova was peja/pec Region when war was going on in Macedonia. Those weapons were coming from Bosnian factory, with destination to Albanians in Macedonia. They were intercepted in Peja/Pec Region and all those AK-47 after the transition were handed to KP ROSU.
By the way, every six months all weapons , with exception of those that are still awaiting court ruling are gathered by KFOR on each station/region and are destroyed.
So much for your information.

'By the way, we both know that MUP is corrupt Olf'

Loaf is it really so hard to bow down your head and keep silent when you hear the word Mup? seriously, why comment? Mup is not only law enforcement it's also combat experience, numbers and other things that make Mup the most serious police in a very wide region. Besides your insult isn't true. there's corruption in police but police is still the least corrupt service in our country. So mods should remove your silly provocations. No?
Well i don't know much more about Mup but i know a few things about kps. it's where terrorism meets pitchfork peasants and common criminals and they together meet keystone cops. And when this bunch meets the real thing they run, literally. They literally run..

lili

pre 14 godina

We give information to MUP unofficially all the time, and they do the same for us. No one in Kosovo institutions can stop that. So much for your agreement

And then, what have you achivied with these info exchanges? Not much indeed§
as for the bombing of the café,you should have told us ALL the story, and explain us who is the owner of this café and of what he was accused and how it comes that each time Kps arrests a trafficant, you are here to release him.
Just tell us all the story, and don't forget to say that the owner is accused of the killing of a policeman.
as for your collaboration with milosheviq police,it tells more about you than about us!

Jason

dont mean to offend you but your comment is also almost ... Almost!!! Nevermind

People that break the law and their code of conduct are called "corrupt" enywhere in the world. So if you say that you break the law and the your code of coduct than of course that I'll call you Corrupt.

I thought that UNMIK has trainer and acted as mentor to Kosovar police. Does this mean that the job was not done properly?

Cases of KP that you have mentioned are cases that are dealt with and those PO are serving their sentence. This is to equal tha claim that Kosovo is not dealing withit corruption.

USA134

pre 14 godina

Walter,

You may be right, Jason never has set foot on bondsteel grounds because bondsteel has been closed to American Civpol since 2006, but I have set foot in Bondsteel and i have spent many years here. In fact I have spent enough time here to realize the truth behind the corruption from the KP straight up the line to the political upper Echelon, so I must agree with every statement that Jason has made. Not only is he accurate but it is obvious that he has done his homework. Just to add to his research, Jason you could also mention the 1000 new AK-47s that mysteriously disappeared from the KP evidence room in Srbica about a year and a half ago. Hmm what could have possibly happened?

(Walter, 5 October 2009 12:37

Nice try but UNMIK and EULEX staff are not allowed on Bondsteel for PX priveledges, Einstein. We do not go there for that reason. Your post was almost too ignorant to reply to. Almost.

Demi

pre 14 godina

Haha so many hopes you got Jason&co with this agreement. One thing I can tell you for sure is that Eulex workes closer to KPS than to Mup. Eulex is clearly the middlehand beetwen Mup and Kps as Serbia dosen't recognize the new reality in Kosovo. But when Eulex leaves Kosovo then who are serbia going to get/send information to ? I bet to the Kps wich will result in Serbia recognizing Kosovo.... or no EU membership.

We albanians invited Eulex to Kosovo and are happy to have them here. They will make North Kosovo stable so albanians can move back there. They will take care of the border issue with Serbia and make Serbia accept that there is a border beetwen Kosovo and Serbia.

Jason don't forget what happend to Unmik. Their mission were over and they had to leave. The same with Eulex when their mission is done. When that time comes Serbia wont even dare to think about Kosovo. Less of controling it. Because then Kosovo will have a strong control over it's territory and it's lawsystem and police/ security service will be strong.

Jason

“Jason
I thought that you are here to help enforce the law?

If you say that KPS are corrupt, than you come to this statement assuming that they braak the law and Code of Conduct, but the same can be said about you, sorry.
Now, how can a corrupt American police officer(you) teach someone(KP police officer)something, or even be in position to talk about it.”

Yes, Oaf, I am corrupt for working with other police against some very (real) corrupt police here. Whatever.

Anyway, I am not here to teach anyone, I am here to put people in prison, so get it right, genius. Furthermore, since you profess to work here you should know that KPS is extremely corrupt, hence the reason EULEX has its own executive department.

“Last, I would say you do your homework better and focus on yourself, and stop talking about the others until you have dealt with yourself.”

Do my homework better? What the devil does that mean? Anyone?

“By the way, we both know that MUP is corrupt, if not more than any organization in Balkans
(Olf, 5 October 2009 11:47)”

Last time I checked, Serbia was at least arresting its corrupt officers in sting operations, unlike KPS which has a ROSU lieutenant arrested in a jewelry heist in Vucitrn, 40 kilos of heroin disappear from police evidence, and other officers carrying out bombings of cafes in Pristina.

If you think for a moment that EULEX will keep the K/Albanian police force in the loop, guess again – they are part of the problem.
(sj, 5 October 2009 03:34)

Exactly, they are a HUGE part of the problem. As for the geniuses who cannot fathom that an American in EULEX can be pro-Serb, I say... nothing. Believe what you will, and I will keep working with my Serbian colleagues and there is nothing you can do about it.

Why is arresting corrupt police, judges, and politicians from Kosovo a problem for you anyway?

USA134

I agree with Jason. I believe that MUP has a great deal of information that could help us bring these Political/Mafia Criminals in central Kosovo to justice. Truly with the help of Serbian MUP EULEX may be able to accomplish this great task.

sj

pre 14 godina

Walter,

The US dropped the shield because of escalating costs – this is as theoretical system that requires funding to bring it to reality - just like their new generation military jet fighter. In addition, NATO now travels through Russian territory to resupply their troops in Afghanistan. For the Kosovar supports, that will try and make something up about Russia trading the removal of missile system for supporting further sanctions against Iran – it’s not in Russia’s interest to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons either.

Here is something for you to contemplate; China is pushing the US seventh fleet out of the South China Seas as I am writing this, and perhaps they might sail to Pristina to help their Albanian friends. The US is a crumbling empire, falling apart at the seams and if you want to believe that it told Vlad Putin to keep his nose out of the Balkans then you must be reading an outdated newspaper, say 15 years ago.

There is a story going around that during the bombing of Serbia, Putin asked Bill Clinton why was he doing this thing? How would he like it if someone bombed the US for no reason? I believe that Clinton laughed and reply who was going to do it Russia? Knowing quite well that it was not capable of doing anything at that time. It goes on to say that Putin was furious and pledged to return the favour someday. Considering the Russia is a major partner in the war against terror, how many times has Hillary Clinton visited Russia as Secretary of State? I know of many other high ranking US officals who have including Barak Obama.

If it makes the Kosovars happy please continue to delude yourselves and have happy thoughts. The EULEX agreement is a further sign of a beginning of gradual long-term handover of policing to Serbian police. If you think for a moment that EULEX will keep the K/Albanian police force in the loop, guess again – they are part of the problem.

(Ron, 4 October 2009 21:47)
I don't think many here would dare to believe that comment. You have become way too focused on the Albanian put down part of your rhetoric to not either be Serbian descent or resident one.
Initially your comments were all supposedly support for international law but they have digressed to just plain every day put down of the Kosovo people. What little credibility you had at first has totally disappeared.

Smulan

pre 14 godina

Jason you dont work for eulex or any other organisation. You are clearly a serb who play the role of a third part and goes against the albanians. But in the end only you will lose. Eulex is nothing but another Unmik and will have it's time.In the end also Eulex will leave Kosovo and only the goverment in Prishtina will stay forever.

But whoever you are you are wrong about Kps have to give information to eulex. Kps dosen't have to give nothing to eulex and has no obligation towards eulex. Eulex is a orghanisation who cooperates with ever police in the region. That includes Kosovo, Serbian or Albanian police. But non of this police have obligation to send information to eulex. Not even Kps.

The same agreement who was writen with Mup has been written with Kps. That showes clearly that Kosovo is a state in the eyes of Eulex and has it's own police service.

Eulex is a orghanisation who cooperates with ever police in the region. That includes Kosovo, Serbian or Albanian police. But non of this police have obligation to send information to eulex.

Those weapons were coming from Bosnian factory, with destination to Albanians in Macedonia. They were intercepted in Peja/Pec Region and all those AK-47 after the transition were handed to KP ROSU.
