...and now the government is admitting what they have known for a long time. The question is why hasn't the police moved in on these groups which has been "infiltrated" by criminals be it as it may 1,000 of them? Where have they been and Why have they waited so long? Could it be that these so called criminals have been used in the past as political score points. I guess now these "huligans" have become quite an embarrassment to the ruling coalition....Be careful what you wish for... Just another example of how this government is completely out of touch and very self serving.

Name the ministers who associate with the clubs. If their ethics are poor they need to be exposed and deposed.

Maybe the law should restrict their involvement in football to just watching the games on TV.

If there is even the suspicion of corruption then the law needs to act to deal with it.

Corrupt politicians will be a severe hinderance to Serbia's credibility in the EU. Bulgaria hasn't looked too good so far; Serbia won't be allowed in if it looks the same.

The police DO say that they get phone calls from 'on high' when they make arrests. Those phone calls should be made a criminal act (perverting the course of justice) and the politicians who do it should be exposed in the press before being put in prison for a minimum period of six months.

Sure, the ones 200 miles north of Belgrade are not criminals, they are freedom fighters.

This is sad, that because of these 'huligans' who are nothing more than a bunch of sheep managed and called upon by their master in times of need - real soccer fans get tarnished...
