Du calme Natalie :) (don't worry Natalie)

I don't know how long you have been here and where you were living before, but if there is a safe place around, it is definitely Belgrade.
If you look at the TV or read foreign newspapers you know exactly what am talking about.

I already told you, it is a pitty that you didn't come out today, it will have given you the right impression of as how the "normal" people really felt about this tragic event.

Natalie,

The word violance is first of all associated worldwide with two counties US and her extended arm Israel. So before giving lectures to others they should start sweeping in their own yard.Oh sorry I have almost forgotten that the word Hypocrisy is also mainly associated with USA and her politics.

Et tu, Vucic? http://www.b92.net/eng/news/society-article.php?mm=7&dd=22&yyyy=2008

" "I hope we will organize a big, mass protest and that we will demonstrate that we have not killed Serbia," Vučić said. He thanked those present "for loving Serbia, Radovan Karadžić, their nation and for fighting for the state". "

I always have to take Vucic's comments with some hesitancy. The people he's decrying as a blight on society, were the very people that, a year ago at the Great Rally in Belgrade after Kosovo's UDD, ran rampant through the city that night. Moreover, a pack of these people were directly behind me in the crowd, pushing, shoving, shouting, pissing (yes they were pissing), and lighting fire crackers *in the crowd* once Nikolic started speaking. Needless to say, the rest of the people around me were getting visibly annoyed at these kids. Granted this was when Vucic/Nikolic were running the SRS, but it's not that hard to separate the party from its footsoldiers. And I find it all too convenient for someone like Vucic to deny his association with such people when they no longer serve his purpose.

something good can come from the bad.. Thank you for your words.. Us foreigners are listening.
(Natalie, 30 September 2009 15:54)

Natalie, we are all listening to people that are against violence and do something against it. Mr Vucic has not always talked like this and at a certain point was carrying some shocking badges on his jacket...

It is very unfortunate that you didn't go today on Trga, you will have seen how many people went out to say NO to violence, but I respect your decision.

This kind of tragedy is unfortunately happening all around the world and the US isn't an exception either, maybe it became so common that it hasn't been publized as it was here.

There is unfortunately not a single day that you open a newspaper without reading about a violent acts.

There is so little that we can do apart from keeping on repeating NO to violence and participate in peace march whenever it is possible.

NS deputy leader Aleksandar Vučić. Your words speak volumes to me as I am an American living in Serbia and I am married to My husband of whom I love. This has made us re consider staying here. Everything right now seems cloudy. I am interested in your views on this topic and wish to belong to a party that believes in this. I indeed wanted to go to the lighting of the candles for Brice but upon my husbands request we decided not to. Because there is fear of groups targeting foreigners in Serbia. I am sorry for your wife and I wish never for my husband to ever worry like that and have aq sense of fear in his own country because he fell in love with someone different other then his Nationality. As you can imagine. Coming fromt he states what I see here.. There can be so much good change for Serbia. I dont know of any avenues to do that just yet. Hopefully soon. There are many things you can do since your in a position of leadership and though what happened to your wife was awful. I wonder for this cause shall you really be useful upon your experience. This is where something good can come from the bad.. Thank you for your words.. Us foreigners are listening.
