Blic: Attacks on foreigners orchestrated

Daily Blic writes that the recent attacks on foreigners are not coincidental, because such attacks rarely occur in Belgrade under normal circumstances.

I think the "media" in an international sense, is always looking for something to jump on when it comes Serbia. I'm from New Zealand (and spent a lot of time in the eastern bloc), and have tourists being raped, mugged and killed at a rather frequent rate. Yet a couple of people get roughed up (in Serbia) and it's all about "seperatist groups" all of a sudden. Sure, the French guy is a different story, but that is a sport driven attack, you need only look at every football league in the world, to see similar instances. Give Serbia a break for once people!!

Question for Kosovo-USA.

Which state?

At least the authorities in Pristina are not in the frame since they don't govern a state.

bravo, B92 for giving persons like her the opportunity to throw up the worst kind of anti-serbian propaganda...

of course, the orthodox-church is standing behind all this, how did´n we see it before Vesna opened our eyes???

Have the Serbian police and newspapers listed the culprits/suspects, their ages, and their background (organizations they may belong to, past run-ins with the law)?

I think Serbia should hire plain-clothed spotters to watch out for these hoodlums at tourist sites.

Just wanna point out that Blic has the credibility of a tabloid & that they get their spin from extreme-left individuagls & groups in Serbia. I'm not saying the attacks are totally spontaneous but it's largely youth doing them & together with recent polls showing only nationalist parties passing the 5% cenzus & Politika's recent poll showing only 60% support for EU down from 80% PLUS Tadic's recent Sloba-ish foreign policy, I agree that the attacks ARE planned to take advantage of it all. 2 bad.
