Bin Laden tape warns Europe

A new audio tape released Friday, with a voice purported to be Osama bin Laden, warns Europeans to distance themselves from the United States.

Bin Laden is probably upset because he doesn't make the headlines in Western Media any longer.

I don't think he's dead but he's a lot smarter than the people that have been assigned to locate him.

Hoevwr, he's right in his assesment that the Americans have lost the war in Afganistan.

The war in Afganistan resembles many features of the war in Vietnam.Both wars lasted approximately eight years,in both wars the US supported the corrupt regimes of Karzai and Thieu and in both wars there were no clearcut goals.

Any further surge in US or NATO troops will grow the parallels with vietnam and there will be no way back.

The best solution,i know many posters won't agree with me,will be to cut the losses and let the Taliban,Karzai and the warlords to create their ideal society.
