Self-Defense is not attacking innocent civilians!

Dodik NEVER said these crimes didn't exsist. He is proposing a question to the justice system. Who is to say he is wrong or right. You can't trust the system as it is inconsistent and crooked especially dealing to the Balkans!

However, what was the purpose of this statement? Why bring up something that happened 10 years ago. I think it may be late to file an appeal. This statement does not help the RS! Actually it shows how stubborn all Bosnians are.

it´s official that the so-called "crimes" never took place, at least not from the serb side.

international forensics and meanwhile even judges from the pseudo-court of haag acjnowledge that.

it was the excuse for colonial intervention by the mastermind of war, nato. just like racak.

and even if they would have been done by the serbs, since when is self-defense a crime ???

the old western rule that everyone can be "indiependent" (read nato-colony), except he is serb and it is serb land, doesn´t count for me.

and obviously for the rest of non-occupied krajina!

i understand the bitterness from our mujahed-democrats, russia was weak and therfore america strong, weapons came from every fundamentalist terror-regime (from usa to iran), nato-was the airforce, on 1 bosnian-serb soldier cam 3 enemy ones (not counting "regular" croatian army operating in "bosnia")
now i would be bitter too ....

Dodik's statements denying the Tuzla Massacre are simply inexcusable and indefensible. The Bosnian Serbs have been convicted by a court of law of having been responsible for the massacre in Tuzla and any denying of that fact can only be assumed to have at heart the purpose of spreading lies for the purpose of justifying the murder of innocent civilians which can never be justified and supporting the murderous ideology that led to their murders. This immoral and illegal behavior must not go unchallenged and I am glad that Dodik is being sued for his hate speech and denial of proven war crimes. I hope that the families of those that were murdered also file charges against Dodik asking for millions of dollars of compensation for the emotional stress and anguish Dodik caused them through his craven statements.

thank you, Balkan Justice. many voices today are calling for justice (here) and i appreciate it, i really do. it is good to have allies, esp. in this neighborhood.
And you are particularly articulate, your words compelling.

Kate: i do read your posts. i've been aware from the beginning that we are on opposing sides, and yet i find you a bright and articulate woman who usually does not descend to the low level of numerous other posters here. i've even repeated some of your phrases, like "live and let love." so i realize, at least with you, it is not just one extreme or another.

but in this case you are really off base. it is well known who fired these deadly artillery shells, both in sarajevo and in tuzla. the comments about "the muslims did it to themselves" were nothing more than cheap and despicable pot-shots for the foreign press by a cynical and evil karadzic, who was laughing all the way to the bank (actually the gambling halls.) and the fact that mackenzie (who my bosnian frnd correctly characterizes as "canadian scumbag") has lied about these matters (for good $$) is utterly irrelevant to me. as for paddy ashdown, i also do not care what he has said, one way or another.

In tuzla, in one shot, families lost some 65 of their of their beautiful, young people. it was an unparalleled loss for the people of Tuzla, and they still feel deep and lingering grief, as you should be able to understand.

i hope and pray that the families sue dodik for millions!, and win, and bring him down, big-time. My bosnian frnd says he's "just an opportunist -- it's just for purposes of the election, not because he's really a major nationalist." well really, who cares? the same could have been said about milosevic, and was, but look at the hell that he unleashed.

my heart is with the people of Tuzla.

thank you.

No of coarse the Serbs did not do anything. The hole world has it wrong let the Serbs tell the truth and nothing but the truth. Serb neighbors who were horrifically mistreated and murdered are giving Serbs chances to rectified their grievous actions. But Serbs are only intent on going down the path of destruction. Playing still with fire that will in the end come back on them.

Izebegovic was notorious for sacrificing his own people for PR brownie points. Tuzla and Markale are the most obvious cases, yet far more died through policy, namely the appointment of politically loyal people to run the ArBiH than real soldiers. This has been commented and written about by many western peace keepers who were in Bosnia at the time, from Generals downwards.

To Izetbegovic, the goal of an islamic state in the balkans was far more important than the lives of its citizens. His actions are reflected by this.

The ICTY still refuses to publish it secret investigation in to Izetbegovic for war crimes since he died.

He chose war willingly and with the support of the United States whilst at least the EU was trying to avoid it with the Cutilehro plan.

I hope his god in treating him appropriately for these actions.

I guess we can expect the UN to be charged soon, especially since the Markale massacre remarks were made by ballistic experts working for the UN back in 1994.

Now before people condemn this view. Here are experts from a 2000 article that appeared in the Times (UK), http://www.balkanpeace.org/index.php?index=article&articleid=11378:
- Survivors and witnesses said they heard no characteristic whistle of an approaching missile; this later led to suggestions that a bomb had been placed under a stall
- A Western diplomat who was in Sarajevo at the time told me in 1999 that he was convinced the bombing was perpetrated by the Muslim-led Government
- On the morning of the explosion some people were told that it was not a good day to go to the market," the Western diplomat said. "There was also no shelling from the Serb positions that day, and the injuries were mainly from the waist down, as if a bomb had exploded in situ
- The diplomat said that another sign that the Muslim-led Government had been responsible was that government media with cameras were on the scene "within seconds", as if poised in advance to record the full horror of the carnage to gain as much world impact as possible
