in next years next few hundreds bodies (incl. Serbs and Albanians killed by UCK e.g. bodies of 22 Serbs finds in Mališevo in 2005).

According to Herardo Patrandolfi, the head of the ICRC - over 2100 people of all ethnicities are still registered as missing since the end of the conflict in Kosovo(incl. Serbs and Albanians killed by UCK)

Don't forget, that in this number is peoples killed during NATO bombardment (so - killed by NATO soldiers)

So - show me where is Your 12 thousand peoples killed by Serbs????

Ps. After NATO/UCK gained control over Kosovo territory - there were over 1000 killed Serbs and Albanians (not by serb forces - they withdrawal).

Please - tell me where are UCK terrorists and murders arrested by KPS or EULEX?? I know only one - Gani Gashi sentenced by EULEX for killing ALBANIANS. No one UCK member was sentenced for killing Serbs.

If these men were truly suspected of war crimes they would be in the Hague long time ago. This is a bogus charge to put fear into regular Kosovo Serbs. It's ultimately a message to all Serbs to leave the province. I am surprised the names of accused have been released. These people could be innocent and scarred for life just because they were accused of a crime in the first place.

There is no doubts that this arrest as grounds of political motivation. I'm off the opoinion that EULEX should extende their Radius of action maybe starting from Skenderaj, Pristina, Vustrin etc. Just to show neutrality. We are talking of allegations and the course of justice should be followed, however “targeting” the Serbian communities, it is to show to the Kosovo Albanians that the protocol with Serbia is in place. Based on the Serbian Kosovo Methodja Minister statement it seems that the cross/exchange of information was not done. Why?

Futhermore, they have names of KLA fallen on a memorial wall and it numbers more like 3,000.

Also, the Roma have charged that their people - who had ethnic-Albanian names - who were killed by the KLA and Albanians show up on ethnic Albanian lists as being killed by Serbs.

It is known the Albanians are including Roma deaths as their hands as their own.

I'm happy to see EULEX spearheading this. Otherwise this Serb would have been stuck in a KPS jail for far longer. And yes, I do agree with Ivanovic that K Albanians seem quick to arrest any Jovanovic, but seem conveniently perplexed at rooting out the criminals in their own ranks. I can only hope that with the addition of EULEX taking a more active role in overseeing security in the protectorate, a lot more Albanians on the run will be brought to justice.

This ideed a shameful act, to arrest 5 Serbs on some pretext, it would appear that Eulex is just facilitating the local mafia to get the Serbs out of Novo Brdo and take their property.

Who is conducting a criminal investigation into war crimes committed against the civilian population in Kosovo since June 1999 when NATO arrived with the UCK hot on their heels.

Every town and nearly every village has been cleansed of Serbs and Roma since 1999 and they are arresting the Serbs, nothing has changed at all since EULEX and took over power. In actual fact things have got worse for the Serb population.

Mike you never fail in your attempts to make everything look like some kind of big conspiracy to rid Kosovo of it's Serb population. The fact is that many Serb villagers aided and abbetted in committing war crimes in Kosovo just like in Bosnia. However, unlike in poor Bosnia, Kosovo citizens do not have to look into the monstous face of the people who murdered their families.
There is a constitution (which is world class by the way) in place and Serb war crime perpretrating villagers will be brought to justice one way or another. At least these Serbs won't get shot in the back by a bunch of cowardly Serb paramilitary wolves, eagles, scorpions etc. We must never forget the Serb massacred their Balkan neigbors and the scars are still fresh, so expect more arrests of this type in Kosove, the war criminals are still out there.

How was one of them arrested because of mistaken identity. Was his name mis spelled and so they got the wrong man or did some Albanian point him out because of personal scores to settle and they realised they will have a hard time pinning anything on him?

Like I said before, if they can find evidence against Serbs for "crimes" committed 10 years ago how come they cannot find even one suspect for all the murders of Serbs now and all the burning or churches only five years ago?

All foreign embassies are located in Washington, and ech country has one embassy only. Consulates is different sory. You can open as many as you own to provide services to your own people that live in the said country.

I more belive international investigitators than You. If You remember - these investigitators were not pro-serbian, but rather they need to find more and more marks of "serbian brutality" etc. They need to find 100 thousands boodies or more, like western propaganda claim. But they don't find these bodies, and they were very confused with this fact. They find mayby 3 mayby 4 thousand bodies - of ALL NATIONALITIES, including UCK fighters, Yugoslav soldiers and peoples killed by NATO bombs and of course Serbs, Roma, Gorani and Albanians killed by UCK. And according to internationals - there is 2100 missing persons - includindg hundreds of Serbs and Roma.

So - according international investigitators - is impossible, that in Kosovo war were killed nearly 15 thousand Albanians. International investigitators are INDEPENDENT, so any propaganda (both serbian or albanian) is outside them.

Serbs shouldn't worry about these arrests as everything is transparent and they should rest assured that no Serb will be shot point-blank on the head while kneeling and handcuffed. This isn't Serbia.

There was no purcecution of Albanians in Kosovo during WW2 despite their siding with the nazis? If there would be, not a single Albanian would be left. And still we are the bad guys. I more belive international investigitators than You. If You remember - these investigitators were not pro-serbian, but rather they need to find more and more marks of "serbian brutality" etc. They need to find 100 thousands boodies or more, like western propaganda claim. But they don't find these bodies, and they were very confused with this fact. They find mayby 3 mayby 4 thousand bodies - of ALL NATIONALITIES, including UCK fighters, Yugoslav soldiers and peoples killed by NATO bombs and of course Serbs, Roma, Gorani and Albanians killed by UCK. And according to internationals - there is 2100 missing persons - includindg hundreds of Serbs and Roma.

So - according international investigitators - is impossible, that in Kosovo war were killed nearly 15 thousand Albanians. International investigitators are INDEPENDENT, so any propaganda (both serbian or albanian) is outside them.

I'm happy to see EULEX spearheading this. Otherwise this Serb would have been stuck in a KPS jail for far longer. And yes, I do agree with Ivanovic that K Albanians seem quick to arrest any Jovanovic, but seem conveniently perplexed at rooting out the criminals in their own ranks. I can only hope that with the addition of EULEX taking a more active role in overseeing security in the protectorate, a lot more Albanians on the run will be brought to justice.

Yes it is with some ill feeling thrown into the mix.

How was one of them arrested because of mistaken identity. Was his name mis spelled and so they got the wrong man or did some Albanian point him out because of personal scores to settle and they realised they will have a hard time pinning anything on him?

Like I said before, if they can find evidence against Serbs for "crimes" committed 10 years ago how come they cannot find even one suspect for all the murders of Serbs now and all the burning or churches only five years ago?

Who is conducting a criminal investigation into war crimes committed against the civilian population in Kosovo since June 1999 when NATO arrived with the UCK hot on their heels.

Every town and nearly every village has been cleansed of Serbs and Roma since 1999 and they are arresting the Serbs, nothing has changed at all since EULEX and took over power. In actual fact things have got worse for the Serb population.

This is complete persecution.
