"The accusations are serious, not just the "West" but large enough crowd in Serbia and countries friendly to Serbia wants him to step forward and answer few critical questions instead of hiding cowardly."
(Ataman, 25 September 2009 13:06)

We all know that the Hague was set up for purposes of punishing Serbs who dared to stand up to the west. So, how do you expect this court to treat him fairly? He is only going to spend the next 10 years in jail waiting for his trial to begin like Seselj is and then another 10 years defending himself, providing he does not die during that time from some mysterious illness.

Why should this man be sent to a court such as this? If they decided to hold his trial somewhere else then perhaps I would agree that he should go there and have his day in court but since this is not going to happen I believe he is doing the right thing and not subjecting himself to a lynching. A fair trial is all that is needed but that is not going to happen in Hague.

Not only to many serbs but to most no-brainwashed christians worldwide.

Szemi,

I could be brain-washed but I do not see anything heroic he did. Instead, he is accused of some pretty ugly things. As you can imagine, I know quite a few Serbs and some of them are regular on Serbian side of B92. None of them has any excuse for him and they are very much patriotic.

The accusations are serious, not just the "West" but large enough crowd in Serbia and countries friendly to Serbia wants him to step forward and answer few critical questions instead of hiding cowardly.

As mentioned already, Rasim should start packing his bags.
Mladic is a hero to many Serbs and will never be handed over!

As they say in America don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you on the way out. When is all of this nonsense about sending General Mladic to the Hague going to end? Ratko is enjoying his retirement, something Rasim should think about doing.

Serbia is a hostage of Mladic and his fans. Most of them - like the posters here around - do not live in Serbia, most of them most probably never were in Serbia. It says a lot about the seriousity of their arguments.

The same arguments were told here around, before Karadzic was arrested - only the names of the posters might have changed.

Nobody with any reason respects Mladic anymore. His fan articles disappeared from the streets, he's forgotten in the darkness he choose for himself.

As my Dutch friend diplomat would say , certainly not the foreign forces that let him walk freely in front of their noses 3 years after his indictment.
Where is the catch? US? NATO?

I fully agree w/ the other 2 posters: mladic is safe and sound there, so Mr. L should start gathering up his personal belongings, family fotos, etc.

i think it´s just a classical case of "rats are leaving the sinking ship", but your story quite surley sounds better.

Ej Rasim, I hope you will keep your promise.
Now I am certain that Mladic will not be arrested, and Rasim will resign but will be appointed to another position, right after that resignation.

Mr Ljajic there is no need to wait until then. Mladic is safe and sound and will remain so until he dies of natural causes. You, on the other hand, can start packing.
