This pressure coming from certain quarters to recognise Kosovo is nonsensical. The EU is only there as part of the UN; the EU as a body does not recognise Kosovo; and Serbia is perfectly entitled not to recognise a breakaway territory within her own legal boundaries.

EU membership may be good (the jury's out) but it's not tantamount to dipping everyone in gold!

As far as any crimes is concertned, it's wrong but crime happens in every country. Try Australia for example. We have so many Indian students being bashed here that it's become systematic. Why don't we throw Australia out of the UN and clean up our act as well? How about Thaci and Co, when are they going to arrest all those Serbian killers? The don't even have any suspects or want to have them.

Just as long as the EU makes sure that only states can join the EU. And not provinces like Kosovo....

Well to be honoust I like Serbia very much but the things that are happening lately down there are not really inviting them to join the EU. There are hell of a lot things Serbia should change first!! For example deal with all those nazi idiots and their violence!! And also the homosexual issue and all the influence of the Orthodoxe church! Like that Patriarch Homofobije!! And ofcourse people there will say that we should respect their religion and customs.... well we do but we are not waiting here in the EU for a bunch of radicals. In that case do not join the EU and definetely don't get the visa liberization!! We don't want you idiots walking around in the EU!! Unfortunately a lot of other people in Serbia also have to suffer because of those radicals so I would say Government: get rid of those radicals in the aggressive way they are behaving because they are ruining your country!!

This woman presenting the Orthodox faction on the Balkans as usual speaks with a double tongue. How can she crtisize the Dutch Government for their firm stance on Mladic, who for years has been promised to being given over to The Hague by Serbian governments, but at the other hand out of ridiculous patriotic and nationalistic reasons stands firm in keeping a Western-Balkan Country out of the NATO and EU. She belongs to the political mercanaries against the Albanians as there actually were some military Greek in Kosovo during the 1998-99 War.
She definitely will not have any influence on the Dutch position on Serbia.

croatia has been the black hole of Europe for the last century.Again a politician(the major of split) spewed threir venomous rascism against Serbs.What a special cuntry.On youtube you can watch When the gays marched in Zagreb and you can hear,from the crowd "za dom spremni" just a little nazi chant from the second world war.Luca you know who the real nazis are.God bless Serbia.
