i do not believe that we are getting the full story here, and i mean far beyond the millions(?) stolen from the people of kosovo/a. according to our sources, billions (yes billions) were ripped off from the people of yugoslavia by less than one dozen families. so where has that $$ gone, i really have to wonder. and as for the biggest thieves, how has the milosevic family ever! been held accountable for the thievery and all its many other crimes? where is the $$, where are the files? what has happened to the files? why is it always a foreigner that has to ask such obvious questions?

so many families we met are virtually penniless, after putting into their pensions for decades. what has happened to this $$? who knows where, and who cares?

so those are among just a very few of the relevant questions that should be addressed, answers that should be demanded, but are not because the only thing that counts is nationalism and tormenting kosovo/a...

thank you.

Don't forget the artifacts removed from the national museum immediately before the war - Neolithic and Roman objects certainly can't be claimed as part of the Serbian heritage.

A huge amount of money and we are talking in 100 of Milions of $ and then DM was taken from bank of Kosova (Bankos) , during Milosevic's era. That money belongs to Kosovars, amongst many other assets that was taken when Serbian police and military ran from Kosova just before NATO troops moved in.

What i ment on the bove coment is that all that money belong to individuals life savings and not state assets. That is another story alltogether.

^ Funny how this Kosova-USA person seems to be the only person aware of this.

Well guess what given that the amount in question is less then a billion and the EU has given handouts directly to you this alleged has been more then supplemented. { I remember in 2002 when Euro came into force EU sent a billion euros directly to the acounts of Kosovars, exceeding the amount you claim.

But getting back to the topic. Your statement is rather foolish for several reasons and irrelevant to this article:
* It's not a issue of succesion since the Badinter Commission ruling say issues of succession are only for republics.
* The west has never shown inclination to include Kosovo.
* Ex-YU republics do not wish to include Kosovo. So much for all the propaganda of recognition by them. [ Especially when one considers that in the grand scheme of things Kosovo is entitled to less then 2% of the assets in question, slightly more then Montenegro].
