And this is poor Jimmy, who was most likely the weakest, the worst US president ever.

That title belongs to Dubya, hands down.

All those catastrophic things were reversed by a great republican president, Ronald Reagan.

Ronald Reagen deserves zero credit for anything. In particular, without his politics in Afghanistan there would not be any "war on terror" today.

But wait... both Afghanistan in 80-s and "war on terror" does benefit pretty much the same groups. "Thanks", Reagan - FOR NOTHING (and for creating one of the biggest deficits in US history, surpassed only recently).

Joe,

As far as Jimmy Carter is concerened I also must agree with you.The guy was a bred and born peanut farmer not a political leader. In his presidential position he was as effective as I would be if some crazy pesants decided to meke me the leader of Mucsaröcsöge TSZ(agricultural cooperative in Hungary).

Look who is talking...little Jimmy the polemist. He and some democrats try to play the "race card" to get their way when the majority of Americans are against the health reform proposals in their current form. This is arm twisting the socialist way.
And this is poor Jimmy, who was most likely the weakest, the worst US president ever. Under his presidency the US was pushed around by a third grade country like Iran. The inflation and interest rates were in double digits. All those catastrophic things were reversed by a great republican president, Ronald Reagan.

Obama's plans are neither socialist nor communist as people like yourself allege. In fact they're only a mild improvement on the current system.

A large proportion of white US citizens do not want universal health care extended to the 47 million uninsured - because these uninsured are predominantly black or latino.

I also remember Reagan as the conqueror of Grenada and Panama and his role in the Iran-Contra affair.Nothing great there.

Joe, believe it or not but I agree with you 100% on this one. Hell may have officially frozen over:)

Carter was a horrific president and I wish he stayed out of the spotlight since his office ended. He is a has-been who is trying to stay relevent I think. As for Leonidas, I also think it was greed based and not at all about race.

The Evangelical republicans in US base their whole existence on ideology and profit rather than morality.

As long as they profit from various activities and make a quick buck out of other people's misery they will never question the morality of it.

I personally think senator Wilson's outburst was rooted in abhorrent greed than racism.

It suffices to point out that senator Wilson received close to quarter of a million dollars from pharmaceutical companies and health-insurance firms that have a vested interest against Obama's medicare plans.
