Why is Jeremic only travelling to countries that have problem inside their borders ???. Well, we are recognized by important countries , and of course it's good to have a majority but most countries have problem within their borders.

I had the chance to work in Western Sahara as a UN observer.

Changing ethnic balance by providing free housing projects to ethinc Moroccans, pretending to be indigenous Saharawi during census...

Morocco has been down the road.

Serbia found its pal, scratch my back I scratch yours.

Morals? Why bother. Point is we have one more vote at ICJ.
(Hruz, 16 September 2009 09:30)
So - why You don't recognize Western Sahara, Karabakh, Ossetia, Abkhazia, Republika Srpska, Tamil Ilam and Kurdistan??

It's moral??

Vuk is talking anti K-independence again. We all know what happens everytime he opens his mouth (publicly).

Thanks Vuche.

Yes, we do know what happens when he opens his mouth. Nothing good for you.
Vuk has been opening his mouth quite a bit but still no wave of recognition coming in.

You are being very rude to majority of the world when you say that you are recognised by "important" countries.
What, Nauru and some Pacific islands nobody has heard of are important countries?
You have some influencial countries but the majority of what has recognised you are insignficant.

I suppose you think that Russia, China, Brazil, India, Spain and most of the Islamic world are not important. Think again.

Don't worry K-Albanians!

Serbia is preparing their own recognition with the start of the "customs protocol".

Its hard to believe that Morocco respects Serbia's integrity more than Serbia does!

Encouraging to see that there are countries that still respect international law. Thanks Marocco!
(MikeC, 15 September 2009 15:42)

I think you should do some work on Marocco, and than make such coment.
It seems to me that Mr. Jeremic is able to foo; a lot of people with his coments.
I would like to ask Jeremic when exactly did Serbia recognized Western Sahara and and when Serbia changed its mind on that recognition???
Milion dollar question for VUK and others.

Morocco and Western Sahara:
Morocco has occupied Western Sahara since 1975 in violation of resolutions by the UN Security Council and a decision by the International Court of Justice. ...

I think Vuk should do little research and than make public statements, about Marocco and the history of Western Sahara. So in reality FM Vuk is supporting a country that has violated UNSC Resolution+ ICJ Decision and not an Adviseray Opinion.

I am trying to figure out what Jeremic is trying to do attempting to prevent further Kosova's independence recognistion. Irritate and annoy more Albanians? I would agree with that. Would that help building future relations between Kosova and Serbia. Absolutely NOT. Would that help re-integrate Kosova to Serbia? Silly me)) Would his policy help to consolidate the Albanian nation? Absolutely YES. I know the truth hurts sometime but here we are what you plant you will get))))

svojgazda,

Respect international law when it is convenient for you?
Where was the respect of the same law by Serbia in 1999, when you overdid it great time?

It's nothing special that some country will not recognize Kosovo. There has been no recognitions for months. It would be surprising if some country as unimportant it may be to recognize them. Only Albanians believe the 'wave' will come. The diplomatic team of Kosovo, if there's any has turned from tragic into comic. Mr. Hyseni of Kosovo couldn't even make it to be a sparring partner of Jeremic. One can expect Mr. Suroi to replace him but Kosovo independence is already screwed up!

Although I do frankly appreciate your minister's unrelenting report of news about himself, I would likewise appreciate what the Moroccans in this instance had to say. It's just a part of honest reporting, in my opinion.

MikeC, you know what is really encouraging to see? That some people who speak about international law, especially people of your kind, have in fact not clue of it. You also didn't read that article carefully, especially the last paragraph. Marocco claims the Western Sahara and calls that region it's own territy. By international law, Western Sahara, however, is NOT part of Marocco. In fact, there is a range of countries which recognize the Western Sahara as an independent country.

...and it is good to see that countries do repeal original declarations made in haste or under pressure. I believe many nations will also repeal their recognition of an Albanian Kosovo, done under US arm twisting, after the ICJ ruling that international law must be respected.
