DSS: Regions would lead to partitioning

aRTA, Serbs do have the majority of the population in Vojvodina, but Hungarians are heavily populated in the North (close to the Hungarian border). This is an area if Serbia doesn't "regionalize" correctly, it may cause a new autonomy in Vojvodina. This can also possibly divide Vojvodina.

I thought Vojvodina was now 70% Serb? Why the fear all of the sudden? You can't run everything from Belgrade, especially when Vojvodina supports the rest

Like many times said - it is a mistake to associate Vojvodina separatism automatically with Hungarians. Here certain Serbs are the major players and their motives are purely monetary + political. Certain Hungarians drifting with in the false hope, they can become more central players. Unlike what some may hope, an independent Vojvodina would not become part of Hungary - for million reasons. One of it is: the local Serbian "fat cats" would be happy to meow in solo instead of following BG. Why would they want to obey anyone from BP than? They want their own country, for themsellf. Local Hungarians are merely a tool.

Yes, Vojvodina is Serb majority ..... just like Kosovo above the Ibar.

Well if they want to pay three times as much taxes and on daily bases be intimidated either by APEH(hungarian tax authority) or some mebers of Lakatos or Kolompár clans ,work for nothing serving the interest of multinational companies,and build big luxory residential parks or housing complexes for foreigners mainly coming from a middle-east country then they may make this decision.Anyway since the end of rule of Árpádház kings hungarians have been champions of making wrong decisions at wrong time being complatly unaware of reality.Otherwise they would know that those background forces which contributed to anti-serb propaganda and actions are even more anti-hungarian than anti-serb and badly need hungarians to make a stupid move.After all Hungary has the richest freshwater reserves the oil of 21st century,and some would like to take a hold of these freshwater reserves.

Kostunica now has barely over 5% support, he was with Tadic for almost 5 years & his support kept Tadic in power before Tadic or him had ever taken decisive steps to keep Kosovo, only to change sides, becoming enemies at a time when Tadic didnt need him to stay in power. He miscalculates EVERY TIME. I cant BELIEVE anybody in Serbia thinks he's principled or shrewed! I want him out of politics.

The north of vojvodina is not so heavily hungarian as people say it is. In subotica, the main city in the north, hungarians are a minority. There are also many croats and bunjevci in the north, as well as serbs... a joke to think that hungarians will or can break off - their numbers are ever falling too, so the next census will be interesting.

But, I can somehow see vojvodina breaking off for economic reasons.
