Iam with you as always on the
issue of Afganistan. The trouble with the US is that a lot of US soldiers fighting in Iraq & Afganistan
are not even Americans.I was amazed to see J Biden on his visit in Iraq in July 09 handing out Nationality certificates to US soldiers. It follows that these poor Latinos and Phillipinos were promised the green card on the condition they fought in Iraq.

Both Obama and Brown are o couple of ditherers. They had a golden opportunity to get us out if this unwinnable, insane, quagmire by saying,"This was my predecessors bad idea." And they both blew it! It would have been the one good thing Brown did for the UK and as for Obama, he will regret bottling it for the rest of his presidency.

The Afghan people routed the British and later the Soviets despite the invaders' overwhelming military superiority.

Obviously the Americans failed their History 101 utterly. And not just foreign history mind you. These Yankees don't seemed to have learned anything from their Vietnam debacle either.
