In the last 24 hours, we in Ireland have had our own Prime Minister and the President of the European Parliament threatening dire consequences for the country if we reject Lisbon again. Since they cannot sell the treaty on its merits (?) they are resorting to their last weapon - fear. Thankfully, the No vote is getting stronger as people stop listening to our discredited politicians and the Eurocrats. No to Lisbon!

"two out of three jobs are dependent on access to European markets" - so? When this exploitive union (EU) is dismantled, individual European nations can once trade with their neighbors, just like they did for centuries. Say NO, to this wicked conglomeration, Ireland!

I cannot help but sense that some EU-technocrats promised certain members of the Irish government some interesting personal benefits if they managed to turn the (hopefully) Irish "NO" to the Lisbon Treaty into an unexpected "yes". There is too much at stake for German, French, and British companies and a no MUST be avoided at ALL costs, even if this means to temporarily suspend democracy, one of the so-called main pillars of the elite club called EU. I know that the true Irish will follow their hearts and free spirits and that they will no let slip away the historic opportunity to safe themselves and the rest of the free people in Europe from this bureaucratic and imperialistic monster that seems to resembles the GWB style more and more.

So the Irish are given the opportunity to make amends on their ERRORS in the first referendum and vote positively this time-according to the Irish goverment- for the Lisbon Treaty. This is nothing more than patronising crap and insulting to Irish people.

The Lisbon Traey concept was hatched by delusional bureaucrats who felt democracy was past its sell by date and that an autocracy was well over due. Perhaps even the same commies who trashed Russia, who knows.

It is the same delusional bereaucrats that sold us the concepts of globalisation and
multiculturism as the tickets to everlasting European prosperity.

History shows that any project hatched from above without the consent of the populations at large has failed. The fate of the Lisbon Traty won't be ant different but the consequenses will be unimaginable.

I will urge again my Irish friend to give a resounding NO for the sake of Europe and
its people.
