This incident is Serbias fault for not recognizing Kosovo. Actually, Slobodan Milosevic is behind it!

Tradgedies like this do happen in families, BUT this is NOT AN INTER FAMILY DISPUTE!

Ten people were hospitalized! Who shoots ten members of their "family" and calls it a family dispute?. Nice way to cover up a story! I suspect mob/mafia involvement.

Aleks, inter-tribal conflicts among Serbian Albanians always tend to lessen when Albanians are single-mindedly focused on a particular enemy, like Serbs in this case but when a form of dissonance occurs, like with EULEX confusing & dividing their society, tribal conflicts become more frequent. I did a paper on the subject in Uni & the frequency of the feuds indicate the extent of internal division.

Not really. This has been going on since the 1999 'great war of liberation'.

You only have to look at Albanian since 1989. Northern Albanian resembles the tribal areas of Pakistan from a law and order point of view, i.e. you will almost never see any law enforcement or implementation of the law. I am though being unkind to Pakistan as they have finally gone in to their FTA to deal with the unruly elements.

What this story represents is that the KPS is really a Potemkin Police Service or PPS. It is presented to foreign media and visiting dignitaries as "successful cooperation" and effective policing even though it is under resourced, politically susceptible and is unable to deal with (and thus avoids) the real problems.

Everyone who has to deal with organized crime, policing etc. in the EU knows this, EUROPOL, OSCE etc.

The only benefit of the PPS is that it employs 'ex' KLA men which means that at least we know where these dangerous people are and can keep tabs on them, otherwise they would be spending their time working for the other side...

The proof that the PPS is effective is when there are such kind of disputes and the first action of the aggrieved is to go to the police because they TRUST the police and judicial system to actually do something. In the real world, thousands of criminal cases are not being delt with, judges are bribed and threatened, cops are bought off or follow the advice from 'relatives'.

while the B92-censors are deleting everything written about the "kanun" here, the incidents just tell us the truth about what kind of poeple we are dealing with.
