Where is the Christian outcry?

Very simple most Christians want to help those who cannot pay bills not those who REFUSE to pay bills to support a political point.

It shows that being Serbian comes first in this case not the mission of God!

Some of you dont seem to get it. its about monastic communities. They can live on bread and water if need be. Their kingdom is of another world if you know what i mean. but it sure helps to show the world what albanians are made of when this sort of despicable pressure is made against those people.

Good thing he is not demanding power from Kosova then. Until Serbia gives it him, he will stay in the dark
(aRtA, 7 September 2009 17:28)

Uh-oh...

1) Kosova has no power - hence nothing to demand what they don't have. Who has the power in Kosova?

2) The monks in Gracanica monastery can stay without electricity - but they rarely stay "in dark". This ("staying in dark") is a special "privilege" of certain KLAnsmen who confuse 2009 A.D. times with 2009 B.C. Even if they have electricity.

The Church is willing to pay it's bills but only to the legitimate All-Serbia state and not to KLA/KEK.

Get real EA. I don't need to add anything to what I've said. In politically sensitive situations all over the world concessions are made. I'm sickened by it but you keep on with your "pay the bills" everyone else will form an opinion on these actions. Offending such a symbol for the sake of an electricity bill whilst millions has been spent on kosovo by the international community.

good one guys, not.

It's proper silly to ask from a government you don't want to reckognize to pay your elecricity bills. It's better if Serbian Orthodox Church get lit up by candles or by generators in 21-st century. This makes sence and helps to understand why they don't want to pay bills. It's been a long time this church is working hard to roll back the wheel of the story.
I ask pardon to any serb which may feel to be hurt in his religious feeling because I didn't mean it.

Rick

The REAL issue here is not about paying for the electricity used- even Vladika Artemije has stated that many, many times. The problem that is being hidden is that the K-Albs want the Serbs to sign "agreements" with KEK which tacitly or indirectly acknowledge KEK's Albanian ownership. The entire KEK electrical company was built (in the 1960's and 1980's) and OWNED by the Serbs- and now the K-Albs, who proclaimed their illegal independence simply "took over" KEK- and now KEK is under the control of the government, run by criminals such as Thaci, Haradinaj, etc. So where is the "justice"??? And THAT'S the REAL reason why Serbs in Kosovo are not paying their electricity. Belgrade should however, be doing much more to help our suffering Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.....after all, Belgrade actually controls the electricity going into KEK. With this constant Albanian agitation toward the Serb enclaves, let's see what will happen very soon.

If the Kosovo institutions cared one bit about embracing Serbs in its so called multicultural state then it would not cut off electricity to such a sensitive and symbolic landmark. It is exactly the way to ensure otherwise.

It's interesting to note that power in the North of Kosovo (under Serbian control) has a continuous supply, even to those that do not pay their bills while in the South power is constantly turned off. It just goes to show who is more responsible with the electricity supply in a time when most citizens have difficulty paying Western prices for electricity.

The Serbian government should supply diesel powered generators and bio diesel to these monastries. It is a quick, simple and cheap solution.
