Serb, Albanian youths clash in KM

This behaviour is what Albanian kids learn from their parents. Ethnic clensing the silent way!

Actually, the real headline should have been Serbs and Albanian youths play football together. That's far more interesting than the unfortunate fights that took place afterwards.

At least they're interacting.

Due to the context where this happened and the recent trouble in Mitrovica, I can undestand why this will make the news....but it still doesn't warrant headline news (By the way, this was also main news in albanian news sites).

The problem lies at the fact that media inflate every incident that resembles any ethnic trouble.

The truth is that incidents like these between two groups of youth in a football pitch, happen all the time in every country, and they could be between two albanian groups or two serb groups of different neighbourhoods or towns, etc.... Even professional footballers get into fights every now and again.... so lets put this into perspective.

What a sad story!
I mean fights between youth are happening on daily basis in London,but because this is happening in Mitrovica,the story has to be published!

I don't know the purpose of this story,it brings more hatred between two nations and more call namimg in this forum!!!

Hahaha, this is very funny! They played soccer together.
This incidents happens eberywhere, also in professional sports. The good news is that, they played together, where could you hear or see, that Albanian and Serbs would play any sports in this days in Kosovo.
I think B92 shouldn't issue this news, they should issue more interesting news.

Nikshala, I agree with you on this one. Soccer is one sport where violence is the norm.
We don't know what sparked this one exactly but whatever happened is almost certainly going to happen again and again.

Maybe these two groups should stay away from soccer for a little while until the cool down.

Lucky there were probably no spectators. Imagine the blood bath then.

Agreed. Besides, this particular neighborhood in North Mitrovica has almost no problems despite being mixed. Much ado about nothing this time.

Unfortuntately people fight everywhere.

But in Kosovo Serbs are attacked because they are Serbs. And the other way around.

And THAT is very sad!

Everyday, everywhere, and anytime things like this happens all over the world. Kids get into fight playing sport. It's not just in Mitrovica. Hope they don;t get in fight again.

Media in Albanian report the opsite, that six Albanian youngsters suffered injuries. So before you comment, please listen to both bells!
Please correct me if I am wrong but as far as I remember in a match btw Partizan and C.Zvezda one person was killed and no one was blamed. Nevertheless, I play footbal regularly with my friends and sometimes we fight. This is when you play without a referee so you don't have one to blame.
