NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that his task is to get all of the Balkan countries into the Euro-Atlantic structure in the coming years.
Fogh is saying, "we want you in the NATO so we can control and exploit you" in the Balkans, isn't he? What military threat, and from who, is Serbia open to? PLEASE, just say ne, to this outdated, aggressive military alliance Serbia. This is the same alliance that killed over 3000 innocent Serbs in 1999, on fabricated charges of genocide, just to establish a military base and armed presence in the Balkans for their own geo-political advancement.
Balkans, which has yet to be “completely stabilized,” Worry about Anatolia and the Turks and their horrendous treatment of the millions of Kurds. But no we wouldn't want to offend the Turks. You might need their army to ride posy in your gang to lynch some one to put them in their place in the new world and in the same old order. Nothing much changes just reshuffle the deck of marked cards and on it goes.
Actually, the only reason NATO still exists is to force new members, and existing members, to buy more arms from the US military industry, and keep the fat cats rich and their shareholders happy. Their main goal lately is to start another arms race with Russia. This 'military industrial complex' controls the US Senate and Congress through their lobbyists and corruption. It is the reason the US is so hated around the world, and it will ultimately be the reason for downfall of the American empire.
Serbia should never join this criminal alliance, and should spend her money on things that will uplift and improve the lives of her citizens, such as infrastructure, education, and health care. Not one penny to the greedy fat cats that make arms and spread war and misery around the world.

Since NATO cannot draw any more troops from the old members they are looking to the Balkans as the next pool of mugs to be sent to Afganistan or to their new colonial wars.
Nato has lost its relevance since the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact.It's still in existence to serve only the geopolitical interests of the
hawks both in US & UK.It's time for the dissolution of this outdated organization.
