The 95th anniversary of the Battle of Cer was marked on Sunday in Tekeriš, western Serbia.

theres a lot of windbags in our beautiful country who say they want to live by eu standard. well gentlemen here's my standards that i live by. the amazing honour and humility of patriot serb soldiers. when you start there there's nothing you can't achieve for your country!

there are some today who would do well to remember the sacrifice Serbia has made in the past, not just for herself but for many other nations too. These sacrifices are not really so many years ago and it would be criminal to allow those soldiers to have died in vain. Maybe now is a time to reflect on that and possibly apply some humanity to the situations before acting or speaking too hastily against Serbia.

The sacrifices made by the the Serbian army and people during the period 1912-1918, were truly an inspiration to all free nations. They were willing to give their lives for a greater good. They were unselfish, and believed in the purity of their cause. They were a united people and army. Their memory should always be cherished, their exploits celebrated, and their achievements remembered.
