Impasse in Macedonia name negotiations

Are the results of Nimitz’s meeting a surprise to anyone? A federated Yugoslav People’s Republic of Makedonija and was established in 1944 by Josep Broz Tito out of the area then know as Vardaska-Banovina. Mvoing forwrd a few decades the illustrious George Bush and his war-mongering administration succeeded in creating a CIA puppet state in the Balkan peninsula in 2002 by recognizing this false state with the name Republic of Makedonia.
Now we Hellenes, Bulgarians and Albanians in 2009 have to live with this house built on sand.
I am frankly surprised FYROm has survived this long without any outside funding but in a year or two they will be indebted to the IMF and the EU.
Skopje should not be invited into NATO nor the EU until they start respecting human right for ALL their citizens, until they agree that they belong to the proud and important Slavic race and until they stop their infantile assertion they are the true Makedones.
I believe once these issues are solved all of the legitimate Balkan nations will welcome the humble people of FYROM into their fold, trade with them, visit their beautiful country and will stop all enmity and will live in peace together.
The choice lies with the people of Skopje. Will you allow the immature Gruevski government to destroy your future or will you rise above the pettiness and historical hatreds?

There are only two names which apply to that little quisling creation of the western empire one is FYROM and the other is "NAFUTBS" or the Nato Airfield Used To Bomb Serbia

Greece was created in 1830, it was a creation of England and France. The thing is when Greece was created as a nation in 1830 it had NO Macedonian land or any of the geographical Macedonia in its borders.

The question is how can Greece have 51% of geographical Macedonia and claim the Macedonian name, when in 1830 the creation of the nation Greece had nothing Macedonian in its borders

In 1913 the geographical Macedonia was free from the Turkish empire by England, France and Russia, the 3 powers agreed to draw the line betweem comunist and democratic. Thats why during the cold war Yugoslavia and Bulgaria were with USSR and Greece was with the West.

Macedonia was split in 3 parts in 1913 to Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece.

So when a Greek tells you that Macedonia is Greek he or she is telling you lies, and when the Greeks turn to 2300 years ago and tell you that Alexander the Great is Greek just turn you back and walk away cos that desprate lies.

All it takes is one country to block EU and NATO so I guess this puts Greece in the driver's seat.

I can't believe that people don't know what race they belong to. Is this not taught in schools? Don't people know about their roots or is what is taught in schools today is pure propaganda?

We have two opposing views here. One must be right and the other wrong. Surely there is enough intelligence in the world today to be able to decide on this once and for all.

Keep the name boys... no point joining the EU/NATO its the only alleged carrot the Greeks have to offer..

We all know that "federations" don't work e.g Yugoslavia, Ottamans etc etc from experience hence no point joining EU/NATO - No logic..

After you couldnt live with people using the same language and culture, what chance do you have of getting along with Germanic/Anglo/Franko types...?

Actually if we don't join the EU it will be the end of us. The Albanian party DUI will be discredited and PDSH will take over and the first thing on their agenda will be to change the flag, change the name, make Albanian an official language, build a mosque over the Macedonian Parliament building and finally succession to Greater Albania, once that happens, the Bulgars will come from the East to claim the rest and Macedonia will be half Albania half Bulgaria like it was during World War 2 when they were both allied to the Nazis. The only way this would not happen is if we stopped being stupid and unified with the Greeks and Serbs like we should have been doing all along and then the Albanians would have to give up the dream of Greater Albania and the Bulgarians would have to be quiet...
